The app says I don't have access. Is it really only for Elite subs and not accessible for Essential?

Notetracker is a part of PT4 that automatically creates notes on villains whenever they perform any action that fulfill the criteria of definitions that you can download, share or create and define yourself such as these for example in regard to PLO:

- 3Bets with Single-Paired, Non-A-A-x-x Hand

- VPIP with Unsuited Hands (Excluding A-A-x-x)

- 3Bets OOP vs Late Position Steal

- 4Bets with Non-A-A-x-x Hands

- Flats AAxx Preflop

- Raises Then Folds to 3Bet In Position

- Raises Then Folds to 3Bet OOP

The Notetracker module is fully integrated for free with PT4. HM2 offers a similar module called Notecaddy that you have to purchase separately. They basically do the same thing but Notecaddy has some additional fancy features like graphs in the HUD popup.

@papahook: if remember correctly I was able to import the entire HM2 database into PT4 including notes. I do not know a way on the top of my head how to export only the notes as I have not had HM2 installed for maybe a year now.

I have used HM1 for a couple years and bought HM2 when it came out but only had problems with it, hated it and flamed their support for some weeks about it. They answered with sarcasm, I soon switched to PT4 then and never looked back. I prefer it very much over the HM suite and am a big fan of PT4. However I think they are similar in function and self explanatory enough so that I do not have too big a desire for a video on either. I'm sure though that if you were to make one yours would stand out and open my eyes to features I have not used before, so looking forward to it in case you decide to make one.

What I would appreciate would be examples for useful note definitions to set up specifically for PLO in Notetracker, do you use any yourself? I found the freely downloadable ones from Jeff Hwang to be a great start but haven't come up with any additional one's myself.

- ‘Don’t get bluffed’: If a player pulls off a bluff on the river, the
loser gets sent to the Shark Cage to miss an orbit. The bluffer
meanwhile gets bonus chips if they make it to the final. If the bluff
gets called, the bluffer will go to the tank, and the player who called
will get the bonus chips.

Pokerstars is producing a new TV show similar to the "Big Game" with online qualifiers competing against professionals: http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/promotions/the-shark-cage/

It is a 6max tourney format with some peculiarities such as a 30sec shot clock and an orbit penalty for river bluffs gone wrong. It will be played over a couple of heats and one final where winner takes all (1mil) and thereby seemingly encouraging everybody to "play to win" and gamble it up a bit.

What are your opinions on the format and are there any strategic suggestions you would give an online qualifier for this specific situation?

I like them and go by the maxim that as long as you feel you are playing well you should always rebuy/re-entry/addon.

Thanks for the video. I liked the very clear examples and how you put everything in perspective to real world situations and actual play instead of talking about Nash, prisoner dilemma and theoretic stuff everybody has heard maybe a dozen times by now but probably never really related much to his actual poker game.
