Hi :)
After a serious thought, I have decided that poker will be my second job, and not my primary one.
I am still going to put hours (~50 hours per month is the plan), and will still update here what is going on with me at the poker world.
So see u soon!
April 21, 2016 | 4:31 p.m.
A really good one Tomas!
March 29, 2016 | 1:10 p.m.
Another terrible session (losing 5 buy-ins), one which I am not controlling my emotions at. My bankroll is in a very bad shape (less than it was when I moved up to 25nl).
So these are my goals for April (edited):
30k hands
30 theory hours (1:2 ratio between videos/books & independent hands analysis)
Key points to remember::
- Quality is much more important than Quantity for improving.
- Emotions are not always with us, so this is why planing before and sticking to the plan when our emotions say otherwise, is crucial.
See u next month.

Running bad and tilting a lot lately.
I feel exhausted and frustrated, my bankroll went down a bit, after I was sure I am in my way to move up to 50nl in a few weeks. I will finish my challenge and will set another one for next month. I deleted my database to help me clean my mental noise (opened a new one).
About 25nl zoom pool - seems to me that the field is pretty weak, very honest (especially OTR) and full of really bad fish. I am pretty sure that I am able to win this stake at a reasonable winrate, but I have to prove this to be right.
love and grind

Yes man..
Next month I have another project that I will put hours on (50-60
hours), but poker will still be my primary focus.
March 17, 2016 | 5:28 p.m.
Volume Update:
40k hands
40 theory hours
Project B:
20 hours
Finished my challenge for March :)
March 16, 2016 | 10:24 p.m.
haha was very happy to see a new video of you!
March 14, 2016 | 10:27 p.m.
Hey guys, after a long time, I got tilted today :( lost 3-4 buy-ins and stopped playing.
I noticed that I become the biggest station at the tables when I`m tilting, the curios guy hahaha :)
So today will spend my time studying only as a punishment!
Finished the first 13k hands at 25nl with ~4.5 bb/100 (the tilt crushed my win-rate) and I will use a stupid technique (mind manipulation) that I found useful for me and somehow is helping me to get out of tilted periods - will have a "fresh start" from tomorrow, meaning fresh graphs (stupid I know).
Love and grind

Graph for 25nl (been going very good):
March 6, 2016 | 12:10 a.m.
Why wouldent I be able to have bluffs here? the turn gives many flush
draws....
Which 2 diamonds would you float on the flop?
Feb. 27, 2016 | 10:41 p.m.
Hey man, why not calling turn and jam river?
The thing is I cant see any optional bluffs that u can have OTT, so its supposed to be an easy fold for him after you called flop and raise turn. On the river he might get curios and pay you, what do u think?

Hey! So I decided to move to 25nl zoom next month after doing pretty well in the last 3 weeks at 16nl.
I am pretty exhausted from the grind, after almost 6 month in a row of 4-5 hours a day minimum, so I will not finish my challenge again, which I see as a good thing, cause it really means to me that I challenge myself mentally.
To summrize this month results wise:
48k hands - 5.4 bb/100 (ev)
40 theory hours
Next month I have another project that I will put hours on (25), but poker will still be my primary focus.
So my goals for next month are (edited):
40k hands
40 theory hours
I really feel I made a big progress in my game this month, mentally and skills wise.
I internalized the power of focused grinding and studying vs putting the hours just for putting the hours. I much prefer quality on quantity, something that I did not really get until this month.
See u next month! :)
Feb. 26, 2016 | 6:17 p.m.
Great series, thanks man! :)
Feb. 23, 2016 | 2:43 a.m.
Hi!
So again this month I will not complete the challenge (hours wise), so I will change it a bit and complete 45k hands and 45 hours of theory (10 of them are independent hands analysis), instead of 60 of both.
Something pretty interesting happened this month - while I am playing and studying less than I expected, I am much much less results oriented since my last tilt (at the beginning of the month) and the hours I am putting are more focused and productive.
I feel good about my progress in the game, and feel very comfortable at the 16nl zoom tables.
I Will of course post my results at the end of the month :)
This is the graph since my big tilt at the beginning of the month:
Feb. 18, 2016 | 3:08 a.m.
Read it all and felt inspired! GL :)
Feb. 15, 2016 | 3:19 a.m.
GL man! will follow for sure

2 interesting graphs for this month. The first one is for the beginning of the challenge, where I was tilting and results oriented. I think it was the pressure to build my stack so I can go up to 25NL at the end of the month. Of course that not all the difference between the graphs is due to this mental issue (results orientedness? :)), but I am sure that it is a big part of it.
I feel like in my "A game", when I am focused just on making the right decisions and thinking every small spot at a time, I am crushing this limit. But when I am auto piloting and force stuff, it crushes me, what did not happen at 10NL, where also when I was auto piloting I was breaking even or even profitable.
So this is the first one:
And the second one:
Feb. 9, 2016 | 3:53 p.m.
Poker have thought me a lot so far about my mental weaknesses, Im learning a lot and also improving a lot (first tilt in a month, after more than 5 at the month before the commitment :-D) and Im happy for that.
Feb. 3, 2016 | 12:01 a.m.
So today I had my first big tilt since I posted this thread, lost 6 buy-ins in 2 hours. crazy!
I think that one unconscious reason for this tilt, is that now I have an excuse for an okay/bad result this month (BB/100). It started with 2 all-in losses in a short period of time, KK vs AA,and QQ vs AKo, from there I started chasing the losses, and like all of us know, that`s not the best idea when playing poker :)
Volume update:
Practice: 5k hands
Theory: 3 vid hours, 0.5 ha hours.
Feb. 2, 2016 | 10:51 p.m.
Hi there, started the challenge today!
Practice: 2.5k hands
Theory: 1.5 vid hours, 0.5 hour of hands analysis (HA from now on).
Feb. 1, 2016 | 11:09 p.m.
I found it to be better for volume and focus purposes, but think its pretty subjective.
Jan. 29, 2016 | 5:20 p.m.
