To kick this off let me share a bit of my life and poker backstory.
Im 24 years old, my names jeff, I live in chicagoland area and am a flooring installer.
I live at home with my dad currently and am looking to move out this year.
I dont drink or do any drugs whatsoever (nit)

Poker wise iv had a huge love of the game since I first learned it when i was 16.
I was the typical high school kid dreaming of being on ESPN playing with the greats for lots of cabbage.
but it was not so much the fame and glory that pulled me in it was the game itself, all the different aspects to every hand and decision trees fascinated me, and the fact that I could possibly improve enough to win money at it had me locked.
I did everything possible to learn more about the game read countless strategy books, found and started posting on 2+2 and eventually found training sites (dueces cracked and leggo poker).
I started out like most breaking even for the first few years playing didnt follow real bankroll management and pretty much just brokeven/slight winner at the micro six max games on stars (10nl/25nl).
Black friday came and killed any drive for me to keep improving and playing as I thought the dream was dead. after about a year off I craved to play again and casually would play heads up sitngos on bovada with a decent ROI at the 5s (never moved up)
flash forward to 2015/16. I decided to start taking poker seriously again build and build a bankroll to help me move out and supplement my overall income.
I really enjoyed playing HUSNGs and feel the variance isnt that bad so I decided that it would be a great way to build a roll and decide from there if I want to switch back over to six max cash or just rise through the ranks in the HUSNG streets.

January 1st 2016 I deposited 25$ into my account on bovada and have been playing some everyday.
im following the 20 BI bankroll rule to start my challenge. as I rise through the stakes I will readjust accordingly.
I crushed the 3$ reg speeds right away and moved up to the 5$ turbos when I hit 66$.
played about 200 games at the 5s with a 10.5% ROI and decided to take a shot at the 10$ turbos.
This is where im at now, so far so good. May consider taking a shot at 20s when I hit 450$ BR.
will update this journal at least once a week if not more with my progress update and other random poker/life ramblings.
(also this is my first ever journal/blog so cheers to that)
