Any reg, i think there are many bad regs that are not 4bet bluffing enough from the btn, and so we are not really worried about 3betting linear and wasting equity when 4bet. They also dont manage to defend their wide (50%+) range
In this case, a linear wide 3betting range is best or should we keep it polarized?

3betting seems fine for me, thats defintively the kind of spot we want to 3bet for value.
Without the fd, calling would be an option, but there is so many semi-bluff or thin value that you want to value that 3bet is probably way better

Post | ywouat posted in NLHE: Adaptation 3betting range from BB

Hi,
Would like to know what you guys think about that :
Btn open 50% minraise range, SB fold, we are BB

Reads : we think he folds to 3bet like 60%, 4bet is very desequilibrated toward value (doesnt 4bet bluff enough)
Our 3betting sizing is 8bb.

Would you use a linear 3betting large range (to exploit the fact that he doesnt 4bet enough, fold maybe too much and let us realize our equity) or keep a polarized range to keep hands that we dominate, and exploit a quite high fold to 3bet

Last point : versus this kind of profil in .fr website where rake is huge postflop and no rake preflop, 3betting a large range (maybe top 15%) is a good starting point for an optimal play?
I ve seen lefort's video on preflop plays which are really interesting, but i think the polarized range he gives applies more for .com website and low rake, vs an opponent that 4bet bluff enough, but under my assumptions (huge postflop rake, btn not 4betting light enough), do you think 3betting a large linear range is a good adaptation?

Sorry for english which is bad

I think versus two unknow reg having a 4bet or fold range well balanced is ok

If u start flatting sb 3bet when ure bb, ure range will be a little bit defined, like TT, AQ, and stuff like medium+ strengh hands but no premium. So you ll have to flat premium as well, and then u wont be able to cold 4bet/call etc..

Unless u have reads on a player that justify to be cold calling, playing 4bet or fold strat is ok i think, just make sure youre well balanced and that ure range is wide enough, and adapted to the sb 3betting range of 18% in youre case.

Hard range construction anyway, that need to be adapted to btn %steal, sb 3betting range, etc etc,

Would be interested to know what it looks like for a 50% button minraising range, and a sb 3bet 18%

Another point : what do you guys think of leading turn? I saw in some books thats leading turn after c/c flop is almost never used and that never doing it is kind of a big leak.

Situations that fit best for it is when the turn card makes your check/calling range stronger (like this turn)

Thoughts?

Lead turn make sense since this card make your range stronger

As played, lead/call river is pretty ambitious imo and this hand is typically not the hand you want to transform in a bluffcatcher
