Sept. 10, 2013 | 8:04 a.m.
Not sure if this is fixed, but I just posted a hand a few seconds ago and worked fine. I just right click the hand and select "copy" not "copy with stats" and just paste that into the post hand thingy and it converts correctly.

Ah sorry haha made a mistake, in terms of how the graph works. I ran a Toy game filter on hem and here are the results.
So you guys were right when you hold AA and get it in vs KK and win although its -40ev the yellow line still rises. 200-40 so the green line would rise to 200 and yellow line would rise to 160 (assuming we start at 0) and the same can go with KK losing to AA. your green line would drop -200, but your yellow line would only drop to -160 because of your equity share of the pot. haha. sorry for the mess up. goes to show i do not know what im talking about lol
Sept. 9, 2013 | noon
hm.... going to re read this lol now i'm confused :P

Try posting without stats.
Sept. 9, 2013 | 5:44 a.m.
Now if you apply this to the graph and how they correlate, listed below
Green line-Net Won Yellow line-All-in EV eventual course of your lines if the toy game is replayed over and over with the same exact scenario
1.If you won the scenario above with AA your green line will go up while your yellow line(all-in EV) will slightly dip. Over the long run it will show you are running good and the two lines will not shift away a whole lot. Green line slightly higher than your yellow line.
2.You lose this scenario. Your green line will drop and and your yellow line will shoot up. Over the long run it shows you are running like @#(%%%%(@(@))!!! Yellow line way above your Green line.
3.From villians perspective with KK, If he won, his green line will shoot up and his yellow line will drop massively. Over the long run it will show hes getting lucky alot. Green line way above yellow line.
4.From villians perspective with KK, If he lost, his green line will drop and his yellow line will slightly rise a bit. Over the long run it will show hes running below EV, but the two should not be too far apart. Yellow line slightly higher than green line.

lets say effective stacks are 100bb, your holding AA and get it in vs 1 villian BvB. He shows KK. The pot is 200bb your equity for simplicity sake is 80% to his 20%. which means your equity share of the pot is actually 160BB and his share is 40bb. Say you win this on showdown you have won 200bb when your equity share was actually only 160BB which is why its negative -40(to compensate for the extra BB you earned). Now if you lost this hand it would be the other way around your equity share of the pot is 160 yet you lost 200 so it should become positive 160(which is what you should have won but didn't).
Hope this helps, Tried to make it as simple as possible to explain.

chat box is fun I like using the (^^^) emote on stars. But the best chatbox would have to be merge, they have the goofiest emotes ever. Not much chatting goes on in zoom, but when i played regular tables back in the day alot of cursing peoples mothers and having the word cancer thrown around. Very not cool, but overall like zenfish said, a good indicator to someones level of tilt. Just read it, dissect their emotional level and continue to play with a new form of information. (^^^)

Hey guys was wondering if we have any mass multi-tablers around? I'm thinking nanonoko style 24 tables or 8 zoom tables. Was wondering about how many hands/h we be roughly averaging if we just fold the really marginal/thin spots. Thanks again.
Was wondering, because after reading zen-fish's post I've decided to challenge myself by dropping back down to the micros and try to climb back out starting with a 1k roll. There is a small problem, and I'm actually about 20k vpps away from supernova and definitely would like to hit it again before the end of the year lol. If I finish grinding 100nl zoom for the month I will definitely make it, but I think I wanna try to put in some insane volume and push myself till i hate poker. 10k/h per day may be a bit overkill huh? I think its possible 8 tabling zoom, but 4tabling I think i would slit my wrists.

I love your post Zen :) It gives me personally, a reality check and is really inspirational in some ways more than others. I don't have many poker friends in real life, so a lot of my frustration and steam goes straight to my girlfriend haha. And she doesn't understand the game so shes gives me generic responses that don't really help haha. I live through forums and spy on twoplustwo players for kicks to feel like I'm apart of the community. And for sure Gluck with everything will definitely follow your blog as well.

gluck, I went on a horrible downswing when I re-entered the PS field lol, Alot of bad luck followed by alot of bad play. Definitely polish your game up a bit, or consider playing a lower stake than you do now and ease back to your normal limit.

If I were you, I would sell 60k at .3/1 or get the best rate you can and use the money to move to Canada. Following that, authorize your relocated account with lock and open up a skrill account. Then cashout your 10k and buy another 13k at .3/1 depending on how long it takes you to playthrough. ~wait time on cashouts for me are around 6-8 weeks. They have been progressively getting slower and slower. Rinse and repeat until you have recieved your 70k, if they do go under at least you didn't lose everything :)
Also if you do follow my steps, be sure you deposit into lock with your skrill account. If not you will wait 6-8 weeks, just to get declined "We can not process your cashout via skrill due to it not being your method of deposit." Cheers pm me if you need any more help. But definitely get rid of your lock, I dont think the rates will dramatically rise anytime soon or in the distant future unless stars buys them out.

how do you watch it on your ipad? the RIO videos wont run on mine.
Aug. 11, 2013 | 9:31 p.m.
I'm actually with Chael on the 4bet, I would rarely 4bet AK here 200bb deep. And if I did I think it would be correct to fold AK to a 5bet vs 6bet Jam? Would that be correct? I think all in pre with AK 200bb deep is just suicide vs all the nits in the pool.

i know alot of casino's can give you poker room rates for 8hour play, but you may have to call them and find out how much it is. The newer casinos just give you discounts and not a full comp on the room :)

sounds like a plan :), i hate deepstack play... And BLOODY HELL what is up with sudden flood of shortstackers in zoom... I'm getting like 2 per table on avg these days.

I'm looking to start up another small project that I guess is a "flash based website"? Anyone know a rough cost to develop a flash/java based app that randomly generates NLHE and PLO cards? And also if anyone is looking to start something up and is interested send me a pm and if the investment exceeds my expectation I may fill you in and see if you want to take part.

Another thing is exploitative vs balanced what I like to call sword and shield hehe, when playing tougher regs I try to play the most balanced style(to my knowledge) so they never have an edge on me and can not exploit me until I start trying to exploite them(which is usually never lol) but against weaker regs it works wonders and I always straight up exploit bad players.

This feels like the redline question everyone asks, "How do I get my redline positive?"
bb/100: 2.87 Does it really matter? hehe j/k But to answer in all seriousness. If you feel like your not bluffing, aggressive, calling down etc... Try reading some GTO stuff or practice balancing your ranges if you don't already, I think when I first started practicing this it forced me to bluff more, barrel more and sometimes hero call when I normally don't. But because its a "balanced" strategy, your exploitative nit style will balance itself out eventually where stats are lower than normal.
But if it isn't broken why fix it? I would take another shot at 200nl, if you said you ran bad maybe your style does work at 200nl and you probably wont need to fix anything.
