Would like to see some stuff on value betting the river (especially value betting light).Sometimes i feel i lost value by checking back but i feel i would just get value by better hand if i bet . I like what i see in your video with your small value bet on the river (with the 889j hand on the 8AxAx board),allowing villain to call with his straight . But somes spots are so close that i don't know what to do . Ive watch some video and i see people value betting a river that i would check back and i dont know what to consider to justify the value bet . I have to admit that i have a kind of fear of being check-raise and maybe have to fold the best hand. Or affraid of being trapped , especially when i had the initiative in the hand . (sry for my bad english).

What are the adjustment to made against a guy who 3-bet a lot ?
I don't have an HUD so i can't tell you any stats, but the guy is 3betting very very often. He play kinda weird preflop,he doesn't open with a very wide range but when he face a raise preflop he is very likely to 3bet instead of calling. He 3bet with a very wide range, i see him 3bet with AKJ4 single suited OOP.
He really don't care if he is OOP when he 3bet,he 3bet me a lot when i open from the button.Postflop in 3bet pot he is not over-agressive , he don't pot it all the time on the flop like a total maniac. He just seem to play really agressive preflop but play pretty straightforward postflop , but i don't have too many information on him. I'm not really struggle with him i do ok for the moment , but i think i can do really better. His style is truly exploitable but i don't really know what is the best way to beat him ;
-Tighten my opening range ?
-Start to 4bet him ? If so , wich kind of hand i 4bet with ?
-A mix of both ?
So i would like to know how you think is the best way to exploit this player
(sorry if my english isn't good)

Pretty interesting to read this because ive work on my micro plo game on my own and my basic strategy look almost exactly the same as Zen's. That's a system that is not hard to execute and do pretty well against pretty much all the micro stakes tables , but for sure if you spots some leaks or reads on your opponent you can mix up your play a bit. One more thing that i can add is don't try to overthink or play fancy risky poker , the main value of the micro stakes is by playing more solid and get paid by the mistakes of the other players. The worst thing a player can do is try to make too much with nothing and end up losing money , just be the solid guy not the one who made mistakes

Thanks both for your help, now that i can think of it more clearly, that make a lot of sense to check the turn here. I'm just the kind of player who like to bet a lot of his draws, maybe a little bit too much. In this hand i was overly concern about my hand and not what my opponent could or may have. I will be more cautious now

yeah that make sense , the way i played it work well if i know that he never raise/shove the turn , but in the flow with my hand with this board i tough that was a good spot to bet
If my opponent has a deeper stack i think bet is standard here but with his stack size in a 3-bet pot yeah i can definitely check the turn here and try to hit ... but in another way check back here on the turn is sign of weakness , and it's gonna be hard to represent something on the river if i miss , thats why i like to bet here because i don't like to give up on big pot that easily , so im still confused a bit . But if we stricly think about the hand strenght yeah i would consider check back here now

Sorry i have no idea how to add a hand , so i made a post about this hand :
Hand PokerStars No 90721169461 : Omaha Pot Limit (0.05 $/0.10 $ USD) 6-max
Seat 5 : villain (11.31 $) BB
Seat 6 : Hero (28.46 $) UTG
Hero : [6h 7d 8h 9h]
Hero : raise. 0.17 $ à 0.27 $
everybody fold to the BB
Villain : raise. 0.59 $ à 0.86 $
Hero : call. 0.59 $
*** FLOP *** [Qs 5h 4c]
Villain : check
Hero bet : 1.10 $
Villain : call. 1.10 $
*** TURN *** [Qs 5h 4c] [Jh]
Villain : check
Hero : Bet 1.80 $
Villain : raise . 7.39 $ to 9.19 $
Hero : raise. 7.39 $ à 16.58 $
Villain : call. 0.16 $ and is all-in
*** RIVER *** [Qs 5h 4c Jh] [Js]
*** SHOWDOWN ***
Villain : show [Td 9c 6s 8c] (a pair of jacks)
Hero : muck
Villain won 21.65 $
So he beat me with 10-high loll
On the moment when i was playing the hand , it seem the perfect board/spots for my hand and i think i cannot fold here and i was not scared by his raise ( his c/c , c/r line seem pretty bluffy to me on the moment) , and i was thinking that i cannot play this hand another way
But after thinking a bit , all the possible hand in his range who can c/r me on this turn , is pretty much crushing me , in exception he was on a total bluff
In his range here due to the fact he had 3-bet pre OOP , c/c , c/r , he must have :
AAxx with 2 heart
Maybe KKxx with 2 heart
QJJ9-QJJ10-QJJK-QJJA
QJ109-KQJ10
AKQx with 2 heart
I dont think he will played QQxx this tricky
So pretty much all those hands are crushing me here , but do i still have to call here due to the fact
i still had equity in this hand , or i can fold here and wait for a better spot
In reality he only had a gutshot + open-ender , he said to me after the hand that he tried to bluff me ,
but with this hand HE STILL CRUSHED ME !!
So , here are my questions :
How do you think the way i played the hand ?
Despite the facts i didnt have any history with the guys , what is the standard line to take here ?
Does i have to fold the raise on the turn in this spot ? For me its pretty standard here to call/shove this hand on the turn with this type of board ( 13 nut-wrap str8 draw + flush draw on a unpaired board)
Does i have to bet the turn again here or i have to check back ?
My conclusion :
I think i have played this hand well , i didnt attempt him to check-raise me on the turn thats why i bet again , but im still confused if i had to call his big raise on the turn in a spot who , same if my hand look crazy strong and cannot really hit a better board , he is pretty much crushing me or maybe break-even
