whether to defend or not you need think about
the position of the raise/ range of the raiser
effective stack size
raise size
skill level of opponent
implied odds of winning huge pot
etc etc etc

you need to dissect your big blind winrate for every possible situation to understand what you could improve on.
coldcall vs various pos
3bet vs variuous pos
overcall vs various pos
also filter for the specific hand types e.g.axs, scs, pairs, broadways suited/ offsuit.
after that you could think about postflop play.

you should 4bet this hand against such an aggro 3bettor. i would prolly continue my entire utg opening range against this player. his range is way too loose and your utg range (12-15%) should crush him.

against a recreational player. just cbet flop 75% and jam turn. against regs i like the flop amd turn play, but you have to checkcall river.

i dont like calling 3bets oop with these types of hands. especially vs a huge 3bet.
imagine calling 89s in the big blind with 35bb vs a 3,5x raise of 10% range.

Oh wait you have psb left on turn. I would call then.

You can go pretty crazy bb vs sb. I would 3betcall that flop. Especially when his xr is so small and his xr frequency is so high.
Folding turn is fine though i would call a pot size bet.

Most people open tight (~40%)and 3x it. If your opponents fold too much, you should definitely open wider and 2x it.

Are we x/folding overpairs and 2pairs as well? Are we only continuing with flushes, straights, and sets?"

Just put in a big raise on that flop. It's threeway and both opponents show interest in the pot.
Turn raise is fine, but fold to the jam.

I think it's normal to have a negative winrate in this spot (SB open raises).
But if you take free walks (SB open folds) and SB limps (SB open calls) into account, you should have a positive winrate.

Let's see if my GTO math is right:
You need to fold 33/33+72=31% for him to break even on a bluff. So you need to continue 69% to stop him from bluffing any 2 cards on the river.
Let's say you 3bet preflop with TT,AQ, which 3.8% of possible ranges when we discount the Ace of spades on the flop.
From a gto perspective, you are folding too much if you only continue with:
AxKs, KxKs, QxQs, JxJs, TxTs
AxQs
(which is 1.4%)
You need to continue with your top sets and 7 (out of 9) spadeless AK* to come to 2.6% (2.6%/3.8% =68.4% defended).
*There are 12 combos of AKo. We remove the As and Ks, and we are left with only 6 combos.
There are 4 combos of AKs. We remove the As and Ks, and we are left with only 3 combos.
So there are 9 spadeless AK combos left.

you could 3bet more from sb and bb vs button steal?
and maybe 3bet more from bb vs sb steal?

Great video even for cash game players
good video , but I think you should have considered that better game selection = less hands per hour.
