Raphael, how did you get the 28.5% figure?

Thanks man, I was just thrown off that both heria shove and buttons call were profitable. But I assume it's because of the money already in the pot. Cheers

These videos are brilliant. I'm trying to put a lot more work in away from the tables and they are really helping, thanks again!

Hi Guys,
Would somebody check this CREV model for me please?
The model was to determine whether check-shoving all in with AQo on that flop against our opponents range is +EV. We can assume my assumptions about his range for calling/folding are correct. I just wanted to check that it's not odd for both the shove and his call to be +EV, I assume this is because their are chips in the pot from action preflop, and that because his folding is 0 for villian the hands he does call will average out to be more than 0 in this scenario?
I've attached an image to hopefully make it clearer. Also, I don't mind if it's not the best strategy, just that the strategy I've modeled is correct for what I wanted to achieve.

I've got a question regarding range construction: in the video we need to defend 64% of our flatting range of 334 combos, which gives us 213 combos - you are then choosing these 213 combos manually, would it be more beneficial to say I want to defend hands with % equity (against villians range?) Then if you don't get anywhere near 213 combos you know something is wrong with your flatting range? Perhaps this is something CrEV does, I'm not sure... but I figure it would help me come up with more correct ranges?
My question may be silly/wrong - I'd appreciate your ideas though.
Thanks!

Timing is huge, sooo many people even at 2/5 imo snap make decisions when their is more to think about, just make all your decisions reasonably timed.

I'm now a programmer full time, playing poker part time. It's a nice balance for my areas of interest. Would be good to hear from others in the forum with similar interests.

Hey, I studied computer science at university a few years ago, I graduated with a 1st (the English highest) my thesis was on Artificial intelligence in poker. I'd be interested in reading any ideas you have and discussing some ideas with you, (potentially sending you my paper) would be interesting to speak to someone sharing this interest!

Great video, looking forward to the next. Around 22minutes in with KK against a x/r if he follows through with a second barrel on the turn what sizing are you giving up on considering the J turn card? If he spaz shoves over your river bet given the action are you ever folding considering how strange his line is? I ask because I've seen this line fairly frequently around the $8 180 man on stars and find myself calling but not loving it.
Please keep up all rambling, very much appreciated!
