Evening gents,
Im posting this hand on behalve of a friend of mine who doesn't have a RIO account.
Stakes: 5/5/10 euro, where 10 is a mandatory straddle
Hand is played between UTG+1 (vilain1), midposition (vilain2) ,BTN (hero) and BB (who is discluded from the hand)
Player info:
Vilain 1= former sponsort online pro who acknowledged he can't cut it online anymore and therefore play's live games mostly Macao and some Ept's in Europe.
Vilain 2 is good friends with Vilain 1 and shares the same description.
Hero is an all around solid live player, and his game is respected.
Dynamic:
the dynamic between vilain 1 and hero is aggresive , they don't go out of eachother's way and are frequently involved in 3 and 4bet pot's.
Hand: eff. stacksize is 2200 euro/440bb
After the straddle vilain 1 raises utg+1 to 30, vilain 2 calls, Hero calls with 88 and BB completes
Flop: A78r (pot 135)
Vilain 1 c-bets 70, vilain 2 raises real small to 150, Hero calls w middle set, vilain 1 calls, bb folds
Turn: 4 bringing backdoor clubs (pot 585)
Vilain 1 and 2 check, Hero bets 360
Vilain 1 tanks for 2 minutes and then decides to check/raise to 1K straight, vilain 2 fold action is on Hero???
(pot is 1935)
Comments on al streets are welcome!
Kind regards,

I'm not that good, as you know!,lol!
But i also find it difficult with these type's of starting hands, for example when we don't have a
3flush but we do have a pair, like in example 1 and 2.
dunno if im right, but i would set it up like this:
and i obv like to hear what and why i should play differently.

Hi,
AKo in SB, against BTN.
5 limps, including BTN, i make it 42 euro, only BTN calls.
Pot= 100 euro, Flop 984ss, i cbet 64 euro, BTN calls
Pot= 228 euro, Turn Ac bringing backdoor clubs, i bet 130, BTN calls
Pot= 484 euro, River 9d
Question:
What would be our best line on the river b/c, b/f, ch/c, ch/f
Some info on Vilain:
Vilain is an older friendly gentleman who is one of the marks on the table, he drinks alot of beer and we can consider him pretty drunk.
I have seen him do the most crazy shit , shipping 55 on J96, jamming any A on wet boards, limping KK on the BTN, etc etc, he is an all around terrible player.
I thought my best line should be to ch/c to give villain a chance to bluff his missed FD/SD as well as betting Ax
Vilain overbet jams the river, we?
Since of late i started to play some more NLHE after a hiatus for a few months, i'd really like you're input
Thanks in advance!

SB: $46.38
BB: $37.64
UTG: $55.71
HJ: $53.31
CO: $109.68
Vilain plays 24/15/8 over 158 hands competent player!
Flop and turn seem standard
i just had no clue what to do on this river, thought we could still get some value from 88 44, KK, although i suspect KK always bets turn.
Thanks
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, SB folds, BB calls $1

Copy the raw HH, paste it in the coverter, tick the box to go from names to positions, Booyahhh all done!
About the hand: since vilain is short and his betsizing is not indicative of a great hand, i like rasing the flop to get it in, i could be convinced we rather see a blank turn though!
Jan. 18, 2014 | 5:02 p.m.
Hey lofigr,
thanks for the reply, although i can see what you mean, im not sure i really like checkback on the turn, since we basically let villain realize his equity for free, with say, 2P/fd ,AA/NFD, and isn't it better to not split our range?
Hey rufidd,
Thanks for your comment, there is no need to appologize
I think raiseing the flop is a bit to optimistic to get it in, sure vilain 3 bets alot from the BB, but there are still some AJK8, AAJx, AJ9Tds is his range i believe.
Thanks both!

UTG: $158.04 (Hero)

pretty lost on this turn, i think i should be betting this turn with my whole range?, am i ever getting bluffed w this spr?, at the time i didnt think so!
Comments welcome!

HJ: $39.15
CO: $50 (Hero)
BN: $52.93
SB: $23.04
BB: $92.13
do we like my flop line?, turn bet size?,i could be convinced that i should have potted the turn, river?
thanks
UTG folds, HJ folds, Hero raises to $1.75, BN folds, SB folds, BB raises to $5.50, Hero calls $3.75
Jan. 17, 2014 | 2:06 p.m.
BN: $120.35
SB: $125.92
BB: $100
HJ: $59.31
Different mark then previous hand posted.
Play's 95/30/15 over a small hand sample
We flop really good, wonderd if i needed to ch/call turn or ch/raise instead of betting?
Is it to fancy to go for a ch/raise on the river against the in general weak 50PLO player pool?
Kind regards,
HJ folds, Hero raises to $2.25, BN calls $2.25, SB folds, BB folds
Jan. 17, 2014 | 1:52 p.m.
BB: $140.81
CO: $165.68
BN: $63.76
BB is also somewhat of a mark, has overcalled 3bet before, his true stats are 35/22/15, but from memory at the time of the hand he appeard way more loose.
Question's about pre and turn.
Do we like the 3bet to get it HU with the mark?
Flop seemed like a clear bet for value/protection, at the time i thought the turn improved his range more then it did mine, i still opted to bet for value/protection from his draws and thought a bet/fold was best?
comments welcome!
CO folds, BN raises to $2.15, Hero raises to $7.35, BB calls $6.85, BN calls $5.20

Well, i don't know either, vilain def. is a thinking player, and what i presume is that he viewed my turnbetting range as strong since there is so little i can bet for value except AQx, that said, i still dont get why stacks did not go in on the river
as for where i play, Holland casino, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
and thanks for the feedback guy's

Hello to all!
I played a hand yesterday witch got me thinking about my overall game.
About vilain and the hand:
9 handed live 2/4/8 where 8 is a mandatory straddle.
Vilain is one of the more looser and agressive players at the table, if i need to break down his preflop numbers i think he is somewhere in the range of 68/30/5 or something, and he overvalues hands in general.
On to the hand:
eff stack is 950 euro
a straddle and 2 calls, i'm in the hijack with QQ64ds and decide to call, 2 other calls, Vilain in the SB make's a small raise to 32 euro, and everyone calls.
Flop: QQAr, pot is 198 euro
Vilain bet's small 60 euro, all fold except me
Turn: 4d, bringin an FD, pot is 318 euro
Vilain checks, i decide to bet 1/3 pot, to keep in Ax , maybe some FD's and SD's , in hindsight i think i should have bet bigger.
River: 2, pot is 518 euro
vilain checks, i bet 240, close to half pot and vilain calls, vilain tables AAxx for the nutboat and i was amazed that the money did not go in at some point!
Question:
Vilain is def a thinking player and maybe this is a bit of a broad question to awnser, but what in you're opinion does this say about the way i play in general?
My general playing style is tight/agressive, since i think that's the best way to aproach loose/passive game's
All comments are welcome!

im the one who thinks this is scary, so im going way out of my comfort zone by posting this, i never had any of this sort of math during school, but i really like to learn this and thats why this video is of great value to me, so thanks a lot for taking the time to come up with this!
Can you guys check if i did everything right?

small sample on both players, preflop standard would be to 3bet, but im fine with calling and going multiway unsure about flop and turn tho.
Thanks!

no other reads then that he plays pretty straight forward.

Good afternoon,
Got in to a small discussion with a friend who's game i respect and is SB in this hand.
Stacksize:s (stacksizes and betsizes can be off a bit)
Utg +2 150 euro
Btn 2400 euro (mark of the game)
SB 1700 euro (friend, most competent player at the table)
BB (hero) 600 euro (Tight and trying to transition to PLO)
Hand:
UTG+2 and a few more limpers when button pots to 22 euro, SB calls , im BB with AThhKJ and squeeze pot to isolate button to 116, Utg+2 calls, button re-pots to 360, SB folds
1) would we rather flat pre to play multiway (friends preferred option)
2) were not doing that well against Btn's 4betting range, but can we really fold?
any input would be welcome,
Kind regards, L

Hey guys,
Every or almost every video i watch stops randomely after a few minutes and i need refresh the page to start over again.... it's really starting to frustrate me at this point, i use Chrome as browser.
Is this a known problem?, or how can we solve this?
Kind regards,
L

Small thingy:
In the second hand (3betting sb AQJTss) you do not adjust the BU range to exclude hands he will 4bet. So instead of 35% it should be 35%!(AA and whatever else you think he will 4bet). If your sb 3b range is wide enough and given him being shorter I can imagine good KK hands being in his 4b range as well. This will change outcomes.
I totally agree with David!
These are some accusations from someone who probably didn't have a glimpse of the material and the work provided by Jonna.
I took the basic course and all i can say is, that i was real happy with everything that was being teached and in all fairness, would have gladly payed double the pricing knowing what i know now.
It doesn't take a great player to be a great teacher.
Keep your head up Jonna.
