Enjoyed the live series.
Personally, I'd be interested in watching a video w/ pio that you work through.
Ex: SB vs BB, BB vs SB. PF ranges and perhaps a board texture or 2.
Ex: Dealing w/ 3B's OOP from different positions/stack sizes
Not sure if you're into any of that but that's just topics i'm currently interested in and would be into watching a indepth video of you analyzing, etc.
Cheers

That sounds good to me. I like how you were clear and didnt rush any concepts in this video. Looking forward to the next ones!

Nice video. Wouldnt have mind seeing some different turn cards once we check raise at deeper stack depths and what we do once villain calls (check, block etc) but i understand the video would have been much longer.

Shoving didn't even across my mind, actually. I remember I didn't even think of folding but went w/ a 3b. If we shove, won't we we be getting called by just better JJ+? I suppose we do make a tough decision on them ICM wise and put pressure on them in this spot/format.
If this was a regular MTT and not a satty, is this play fine?

Hey guys. Recent PCA 530 seat only qualifier. Top 3 get a seat and 4th gets $100. I have reads on SB where he has made this kind of all-in shoves earlier on FT, didn't see the hands but did it 2-3 times. Early on I played with him a bunch and he seemed like a weaker player than most. Limped often and did not like folding, passive type or allin-shovey pre. He was playing 36/20/9 over 177 hands. I do not know who the UTG is but he was not one of the stronger other 2 regs. He was playing 22/14/13 over 89 hands.
Some things to think about is we are chip leader here and do we go with this hand for 40BBs? If we win this, we're probably in the top 3. If we lose we have 23bbs. I think SB's range is TT+/AQo+ and he might shove 99,AJss but not certain about the last two tbh.

Agree with what you said mike. I do like checking back sometimes for sure and agree with that point. I just don't know when the right time is to check back at times. I was betting to get folds and planned on barreling small on many turn cards (overs, my flush etc).
I ended up shoving over him and he had 45o. He did make the CR so big at the time I didn't think he would fold i guess but i really didn't think ONLY 5x would be there in his range and I could get him to fold the others. If he didn't fold then we'd just get it i. The thing is if the stacks weren't so short everywhere I'd be more happy about my play, so not super stoked obv.

This satty had about 293 entrants total and the first hour people could re-enter if busted. 4k chips starting, 20min blinds, 10 handed.
We're down to 110 players still 10 handed and it's 400/800/100 i believe. I can't remember if the ante was 75 or 100 for some reason right now. Anyways, the whole table is <20bb besides 4 players including myself. Super old guy just moved to the table and opened 3/5 hands already. He's always cbet and seems to be on a heater according to him. I've rarely seen really really old guys be this aggro right when moving so i am assuming he has been catching some hands. Haven't seen any showdowns though.
It folds to me in MP+1 and I open to 1700 with K10s I have just a little bit over 23bbs so 18.8k roughly. All fold to the old guy in BB who flats (He's got about 19kish so he is covering me just barely) Flop comes 553dd bringing my FD draw. I cbet 1900 and he quickly CR's for 4200.
Is he the type of player to CR rip a 5x here? I don't think he would but I don't know anything about him. I feel like he would be flatting 5x..i've seen 77-JJ just CR here before and he might be doing this with those types of hands. We're basically flipping vs most pairs if we jam over him. He might fold his lower pairs since he'd be crushed and this is a big pot considering everyone is quite short. Also, he prob could have axdd but no idea if he's CRing that. What do you guys think about just ripping it on top of him here?

Great video Sam. Wouldn't mind more hands to discuss deep like this in main events perhaps, some live deep mtt hands you may have played that you remember etc.

Sam, now that I think about it when he shoved I remember it being a bit over 6k. Can we bet/call this? What do you think he's doing this with? edit: I ended up calling and he had JJ

Hey guys,
I decided to play a few wsopc events in van. Overall it seems very, very soft compared to most fields. I don't play a ton of live (maybe roughly 15 mtts if that) but this seemed like such a good spot.
30 min blinds for now, 75/150 10 handed. 1 seat open in MP. I open 400 with 88 UTG +2 (I have roughly 17k, dbled up early str8 vs a guys set). Folds to BB who flats. He's a mid 20s guy, said he played a bunch of wsop events here and vegas. Doesn't seem very good tbh, first hand of the day he flatted JJ vs a MP open and he was MP+1. Flop was 1074 and he decided to CR a guys bet and proceed to fold vs a 4bet showing JJ. Saw him limp KQo, other than that I don't know much but I didn't like his JJ play or think he was very strong by any means. He has about 8kish.
flop comes 9h9s3d. He quickly donks 500, i flat. turn 5d and he quickly checks. I decided to bet 925 and I bet because I didn't want him to get a free river card, not sure if he's capable of bluffing rivers and didn't want to guess on cards I didn't like. I think I do check sometimes though but just not here. He quickly CR rips allin for his whole stack.
He seemed kinda nervous tbh but I really didn't think he was the type to flat AA/KK pre. I tanked for a bit and as I thought about it really seemed like TT-QQ to me. He def doesn't play 9x like this imo, and i was wondering if he could possibly have 66-77. What do you guys think his range is here? Would he ever have 66, 77 (88 unlikey) or a AQ/AK/AJ with diamonds? I don't know if he's capable of playing hands like that...its just such a weird line that confused me. Any help, thoughts and how you guys play this would be much appreciated. I'll post results after.

Hey David, solid video love the sunday live series.
In the AQo hand vs 88 towards the end of the video on the sunday mil, do you ever jam pre once he calls there? I think it's a bit deep but at what stacks would you jam pre once he calls? Do you ever see yourself calling on that flop once he bets or shoving is best? Just curious about this hand even tho it does seem gross like u said.
Great video as usual Daniel.
I’d personally like to see 30-40bb as often mtts get into these stack sizes often in late stages. SB vs BTN, SB vs MP would be spots curious spots.
