As someone who plays 100% NLHE I want to learn PLO on my free time, not planning on transitioning, but ofc I want to take it seriously,so what are the:
Best Books?
I've heard about Tom Chambers' books, but are they still relevant on today's environment?
Any suggestions?
Best Videos?
I assume RIO vids, but which series/coaches would fit best as introductory videos?
Are let's say 2015 Phil Galfond videos still relevant to today's games?
Thanks!

and not quitting cuz thinking i can beat fish even when i tilt but honestly i am not so sure now about it and he probably wasnt even that fishy and played very well yesterday in like 99% of spots
You admitting villain might have played well is a start IMO
good flop for ur range, cbet it , and he calls u always ... so tilting when they never fold.. especially when u know they coldcall with 30% range
I guess it might be that your emotions are trying to hide a techinical leak you have in your game,(to not make exploitative adjustments as quickly as you should maybe?)
In my opinion, instead of thinking about the outcome of a hand("I don't flop even a gutshot"or "omfg how can this retard play like that") you should focus on more important parts of the hand like the exploitative adjustments you could be making given villain's strategy, that not only would increase your EV by better exploiting your opponent but also increase your EV by not focusing on useless things and concentrate on what really matters.
After this observation I quoted that you've had, then you might start underbluffing flops vs this villain? If he starts floating too many flops because of your weak x range then you start having wider xr ranges?

When things are not clear and they're not easy, the easiest thing to do is make excuses.
I'd completely agree with you but... I don't play PLO
I was wondering how PLO rake at micros compares to NLHE rake, afaik rake at 10z/16z(NLHE,6max) is ~8.5bb/100,if PLO rake is something like 20bb/100 as I've read some people saying that's ridiculous

I think you are taking 200nl reasoning and applying it to drunk guys coming over from the site casino
What on my post sounds like 200nl reasoning?

Are you poking at me because my reply does not reflect a previous statement you made? Is my thought process completely off? Wrong range assessment?
lol u mad?
Is it unthinkable that a player would call 77-22, 56s 54s, 75s, A5s-A2s etc. in position against a squeeze when 200bb deep?
To call the original raise with 77-55 seems possible, but to flat 56s 54s, 75s, A5s-A2s, 44-22 I doubt it.He still has to call the squeeze with those hands, and not raise 2p+ on a drawy turn at 10nl.Yes,it sounds unthinkable.
Apologies if you understood I was trying to berate you.

along with a bunch of sets and possibly straight/ two pair combos in his range
wut?
Jan. 13, 2016 | 1:06 a.m.
Yes,I do expect him to be very capped after only calling that drawy turn,so I expect him to rarely have better than a 1p hand otr.
Also there aren't any sets or 2p combos to be worried about,he might have 77 but again I'd expect him to raise turn with it.I doubt he flats 55 pre and calls a squeeze with it
Jan. 12, 2016 | 12:28 p.m.
IMO cbet this combo otf, choose to xc with AdAx combos. As played IMO pot river, you're very high in your range and want to get value.
Jan. 11, 2016 | 10:08 p.m.
IMO pre squeeze with J9s is fine, sizing should be bigger since we're deep.I think this sizing would fine if we were 100bb deep.I like the double barrel but the triple IMO is horrible,we block a big part of his river folding range (JJ,99 and BDFDs like 9s8s),so just xf river. The 1/2p otr sizing IMO is very bad, you're very polarized and there are lots of busted draws,so jam river unless you have a read villain would fold the same amount to smaller sizings.

Hi,I watched Lefort's videos about PF ranges and I'm trying to make BB cold call ranges vs different sizings and different raise first in percentages(using CREV).I was guesstimating R,but when I compare the ranges I got to what I see Elite pros doing in live sessions it seems my ranges are overly tight, probably because I'm being too conservative with the R's I'm estimating. These are some of the R I guesstimated.(Let's consider a 3x open with a 26% RFI for this)
But then I found these equilab R estimations, they seem much more optimistic than my estimations and in many spots there are big differences in R percentages.
Questions:
1)I always thought a hand like 32o should have R<=40% because It's just a horrible hand. But then after I saw equilab's R estimations I started with the idea that a hand like 32o doesn't have much equity to begin with,so It's not impossible that it has R=70% as equilab chart points out.In the same coin, most hands shouldn't have that big gap in R percentages between them.Question:What do you think about the statement I just made?
2)Equilab's estimations seems to differ a lot from what Lefort guesstimates in his videos. What do you think about equilab R chart to be as a guide to estimate R?Is it too optimistic?

It seems you've gone through a lot this past year,I hope you manage to overcome it,depression can be a bitch.I somewhat related to what you said regarding depression and poker,I would love to see you write more about that (if you're comfortable speaking about it of course)
Good luck!
