All the above is true, plus SB has 77BBs and is therefore less likely to be an aggressive squeezing reg which hurts our fold equity.

02:30 what sort of range are you defending in the BB vs a small UTG raise? A3o seems on the loose side but I've not watched your video on Constructing BB Defend Ranges yet.

Without reads I tend to get it in with my sets on monochrome flops. In this case, villain could easily have AcX or even an overpair with the club like QcQx; even if he has the made flush you still have decent equity.

I don't know that you need to cbet here. As played I think you can definitely check either turn or river (to call, obv). He's rarely going to call down all three streets with less than TPTK.

I understand my range is thin to the point of being nonexistent in terms of value, and I think had I bet 2/3 pot or whatever I would have been snapped off by the hands you describe which is basically why I chose to make the non-standard bet.
I'm also not sure I have all that much showdown value...

UTG: $8.08
MP: $69.04
CO: $22.13
BN: $28.19
SB: $23.52 (Hero)
You've possibly left some money on the table, as a hand like TT-99/8x won't be folding to a 1/3~ PSB. That said, it's definitely not a major mistake to just check back and win at showdown.
