played around 1500 low level tourneys so far , and have been a slight loser. My itm is 36% which would clearly point to me only barely making it into the money and having no chips left. Which is not the case at all as far as i can see :( . I often late reg for tourneys so that might be a reason ?! Or is 1500 simply too little sample size ? Please if anyone can give me pointers it would be highly appreciated :)

Been playing around 5000$ hands of the zoom 50 hu games.
in that time i lost around 700$ in nonsd pots( seems huge to me)
As reasons for it the following comes to mind :
-I get bluffed out of too many pots
- i dont bluff enough myself
-i dont valuebet thin enough
The first 2 should clearly lead to me winning a smaller number of pots. Here is where it gets confusing for me.
i win 53.2% of my hands played in those games. Can someone tell me what i am overlooking here, or what conclusion you would draw from the working of those 2 stats ?

Hello, i tried my hands on plo50 and i really just bumhunted. I wanna get some feedback and suggestions where to go from here.
The entire time i felt like i am running badly ( clearly just a perception problem). I think i am playing way too passive ( huge nonsd losses, allin avg equity of 61%, etc)
My current bankroll is like 2500$

Here you can see my stats. If anyone wants to see different stats to give me some advice , i will post them gladly.
I am just unsure how to proceed, and bumhunting 50 seems not that much :(

BB: $50.00
I started out with his opening range of 88% of hands in my calculation
his turn cbet range is around 60%, i gave him a somewhat tighter range of : T2+,J9+,ss+
Vs that range i have 60% equity. Since i am oop and i know he will bet lightly and also stack off lightly, plus i am oop and there are not many good rivers for me at all, i decided to shove.
BB wins and shows two pair, Queens and Tens.
BB wins $99.50

SB: $120.75
This is my first 4 bet, if he thinks about it at all, he will most likely put me on AAxx or good Kings or broadway rundown i suppose.
I gave him a range of any Q andy flush draw and 66. I assumed he check calls all of them.. just to make it worse for me on the turn.
The above mentioned range is about 45% of his pre flop range, which makes my half pot pet hugely profitable.
That adds up to 56% of his flop range, Since i need 50% folds, it is not profitable from that pov, but since i have on average 19% equity vs that range, It seems that is profitable.
SB wins and shows three of a kind, Queens.
SB wins $106.50

Oh i am sure there are plenty of holes in my approach and you are def right on your points ! this was just my first try... i promise the hands will get better in the future :)
April 17, 2015 | 8:53 p.m.
SB: $49.00
that accounts for roughly 54% of his pre flop range.
And i assumed he will continue with any flush.. any set.. and straights vs my small bet.
that accounts for 62% of his hands, my bet needs to be profitable exactly 38%.. so i am breakeven with my bet. If the opponent is just slightly more aggressive, i think it becomes a clear profitable bet.
For example, i put in that he bets all nuts and second nuts, then he continues only in 51% of hands, given the assumptions mentioned above.
SB wins and shows a flush, King high.

Hello, i have a problem vs a particular type of player ( only player type i always go under)
The style can be described as " i simply assume you never have a hand and that i run 500ptbb over distribution)"
Meaning betting/raising anything, calling anything.
I cannot bluff such a player, all i can do is basically wait for distribution to kick in and give me some hands. Now if he coolers me on that. In no time this players is up 15-20 buyins in distribution on me.
Since those players are always losing players, they will never have those kind of buyins in their account.
Of course i can still play the best that i can and bust them $ wise, but distribution wise.. even if i bust their entire account, they have still won, only way to possibly get even distribution wise would be to take allins on purpose where i have little to no equity.
Am i simply destined to always get massacred by those players if it plays out like that ?

I just wanna know how better players would analyze such a hand and figure out what to do .
I feel like if i check here , i kinda have to call for value, but then on the river.. i will have very hard time oop.

Good point, and i would agree since no players at 50 will turn hands into bluffs here
June 18, 2014 | 10:42 p.m.
SB: $54.14 (Hero)
BB: $72.03
UTG: $106.69
HJ: $132.96
CO: $156.07
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1
When he just calls i basically discount all sets.. since just calling them would be suicidal on that board.
On the river i most likely put him on the flush and i just hate to checkfold here ever.
Since he will never vbet a flush, and has not many missed draws in his range, i bet.
June 18, 2014 | 8:54 p.m.
SB: $61.23
BB: $38.48
UTG: $141.76
HJ: $110.93
CO: $70.32 (Hero)
UTG folds, HJ raises to $1, Hero calls $1, BN folds, SB raises to $4.50, BB folds, HJ calls $3.50, Hero calls $3.50
I cannot even begin to understand his shove here... i think i have twopair here so often it is not even funny.. Plus he is never far ahead plus he had to fear the HJ crushing him too...
The HJ with the set, i cannot get his play either... He has many many cards to dodge and cannot expect me to always bet the turn.
What am i missing here ?
is there some significant statistical value for comparison, something like "BB when reaching the money ranks" or something. I am really baffled by what is happening. This is not me whining, i truly wanna resolve that ;)
