Also would you be available to do any other mtt reviews from us micro stake players. I believe it’s so good for us micro stake players to see how others are playing in these stakes and to realise we don’t need to play fancy to just get there in the end. Micros is such a profitable place to play. I quit poker over 5 years ago, and now I come back deposited $10 and it seems the games are just softer then ever. I’m here till the end im grinding to become mtt champ just like you!

Just finished the series. Thanks heaps Owen. You’ve definitely improved my game. I started watching this series at the beginning of last week and I swear to god over the weekend just gone I played 20 mtts I have made 3 final tables, 2nd in big .55c, 6th in $1 6max ko, and lastnight 5th in a $1rb zoom mtt and I also cashed in 4 other mtts and final table bubbled one.. So your advice to us beginners is so so so worth while.
I’m actually starting you FTGU series tonight too, so I am looking forward to this a lot.

Well Covid will ruin that plan unfortunately. However I live in NZ and I know they are letting people through the boarders. It just means you need to go into managed isolation that our government has set up for 14 days. I think costs around 6k to pay for the managed isolation there’s no other way around it unless you are a NZ citizen.

Thanks a lot mate much appreciated. I'm working full time. So can't play as often but over the next few months I am gonna just 2 table zoom and focus on playing some solid exploitative poker. I will probably do another challenge similar to the one I done on these forums over 12 months ago. Volume will be rather hard but I'll make up for it in improving other areas of my game.

Sorry for the poor content lately guys.. But my laptop has been playing up, had to re install pt4 and start a new data base and get my hhs from stars and import them all.. Hoping to get back to the grind tomorrow

Villain is a nit, playing 12/16/4 3b over 750 hands, i mean just unlucky he had this, he folds JJ+ which is what i was trying to get to fold out.. He has also seen me shove rivers with the nuts
so i expect to get alot of credit here, plus its good to bluff given we block QJ and unblock 7x..

Villain is a reg playing 22/25 and has float flop bet of 100% over 5 samples (so not that big) so i thought i would just x r, ott he raises and ofc he has TT because he floats all semi bluffs otf, but whatever im tilt raging by this point and talk myself into thinking he is on a draw and just raise, obv way over played.. And played horribly

Whale playing 2/44, I mean my thinking here is he has AA and we are sort of deep enough and i have a nice hand to crack AA esp this guy wont fold ever, but clearly he is just chasing the promo with his J of heart lol unlucky again..

Also since moving up i have really put a lot of effort into note taking and it has paid off with some nice timely bluffs i have caught out, and it also keeps my mind focused along with constant tagging of weaker players (short stackers and showing stars).. Is there any good video strats out there on effective note taking.. Even notig things what villains have seen me do also can have a good impact on my wr so i know what i can do to adjust some things..

Villain is unknown playing 67/67 10hands, I think my sizing is a bit gay otr, i think he gets here with mostly AQx,KQx QJx that will probably fold to a shove other then maybe AQ, JJ-TT sometimes and other than TT that folds to a shove, and also tons of missed draws, Axs JTss, T9ss, T8ss, he doesnt have many 8x combos left? ... i think size down to get value from his Qx combos and maybe JJ, and the times he has 8x we can induce some shoves anyway if we bet small on this particular runout anyway.. also i think like a sizing of about 30% is fine here.. Or would we be more happy to try get max value and just shove?

Villiain is playing 27/24 330hands has a 3b 14% F23b 50%, 100% turn probe bet and then double barrels (only a small sample in terms of probe bets) .. I decide to keep my range wide (is this the correct terminology i.e "keep my range wide' in this statement) and rep JJ,KK KQ QJ, and let him bluff, its just another example where i think that regs are just barreling v percieved weak ranges..

10% done.. Abit swingy in some sessions, mainly due to tilt problems and probably just playing too many hands at a time i find has caused my play to not be the greatest.. however im very comfortable at this stake and am looking forward to the future!!!

Annoyed finished the session winning 1.5bis. Its hard to just not play while not in the zone and feel like i need to play when i get that urge!!!! My greatest resiults come when i 1st wake up in the morings and late at night. Generally my play deteriorates through the mid parts of the day, super frustrating and i need to plug that leak some how

Today, will take a break now, have a few things to do today so ill be back in a few hours to try grind some more! Not really anything interesting happened, just bluff catch vs some agro tards and value betting the fishies!
