Thanks for the comment James, and yes I agree I should strive to be a better player/winning player, and I will this year., next year and all the years to come. The reason I am planning this so early is so I set myself up with some "proper" structure to go about. Studying will be my main focus this year. Downswings are something I will have to accept, if I fail I can still do plumbing. So yeah this year will have to be the year I put in some decent volume, study and prepare. Thanks for the recommendations!

This year is my year to study the way I look at it. But yes constant study and analyzing will have to be implemented for me survival, thanks for the comment.

You're right, however PLO 4 tables is about 102k vpp per month, could always make adjustments, 4 tabling PLO100, or 4 tabling 100plo with 2 50nl tables on the side.

Sup peeps! I am newish to RIO and very excited to join what seems to be an awesome community. I am seeking advice for my future endeavour of achieving SNE status on pokerstars in 2015(yes I do realize its only june 2014 lol). I wan't to try to make this short and sweet so here it goes. GENERAL PLAN:
-10k bankroll
-4 tabling 100nl zoom or plo, have not decided whether to play hold'em or PLO
-40hrs per week starting Jan/1/15
This is something I am highly committed to achieving, so I am looking for advice from anyone! What do you think of my plan? What do you think of the limits/bankroll? Is it worth it? Downswings? Mental game etc..
2015 is a year of grinding, not so much of improving my game if that makes sense, just to clear that up.
A little about me:
-Keegan, 20 years old from Alberta, Canada
-Been playing and loving poker since 2011. Have decent live cash scores and am mostly a break even online player.
-Currently an apprentice plumber, looking to make poker my profession starting with my SNE grind!

if your in a situation in which you know your already a favourite it should be all-in in no matter what, and hey if u did end up winning that hand, you probably would have won the tourney.

The way I would play the hand would be similar except I would check the river because I have a good hand for showdown. If he decides to bet the river I would feel he's bluffing, just cause busted flushes will always bet the river, I would put him in a spot on the river in which I would determine whether to call or fold by his bet sizing.

First of all king 9 suited..meh, depending on your oppenents I guess thats why you decided to squeeze. Anyway since he was the initial raiser he may have a k-q and bet the turn to steer you away from peeling off a spade, this is a tough situation I can see where your coming from.
Seem like a huge draw, he is definitely repping something big. J910dQd or J9-xdxd. He could have 99s given the flat call before flop and flat on flop with intention of raising most turns that are non-diamonds. Also a big raise like that may be getting you to lay down some overcards since it is a very dry flop. Either way I think I'm stacking off in this spot.
