"stress testing" our assumptions - sub 100bb stacks
Playing <100bb: I've seen a lot of comments where the only read is that villain who is playing at less than 100bb is (likely) a fish. This suggests that reg treats a sub100 stack as more straightforward and that reg should overplay their hands. It seems to me that changing a default strategy reduces your winrate, especially if your opponent knows your adjustment (and you don`t know he knows), i.e. have you been leveled in a minor way? I understand that the larger the stack, the greater the leverage for your edge, but I'd suggest the difference between 100bb and 90 bb isn't all that large if it induces villains to reduce their skill. For example, if we win at 3bb/100 @100bb, assume we'd win ~2.7bb/100 @90bb, so the question is: in reg-infested games, can we reduce reg's skill by .3bb/100 by inducing him to over-adjust to our fishiness?
Additionally: as stack size reduces, the bet sizing / hand valuation can change for different stack sizes. If we have more experience with these stacks, it stands to reason we can mildly outplay equal opposition in these spots.
