NL100 99 vs. pro short stacker

BN: $53.26
SB: $106.21 (Hero)
BB: $115.53
UTG: $104.50
HJ: $58.03
CO: $144.93
Short stacker is 24/21 with a 4-bet of 9.1% over 274 hands.
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 9 9
UTG folds, HJ raises to $3, CO folds, BN calls $3, Hero raises to $13, BB folds, HJ raises to $58.03, and is all in, BN folds
I'm not sure if I should flat this or squeeze. If it were a weaker PP I'd have no problems with set mining this and cold calling. However 99 is pretty "up there" in terms of raw equity but really bad when playing OOP mw.

Is this a squeeze, cold call, or fold?

I plugged in a 4-bet range of 9.1% into Equilab (88+,ATs+,KTs+,QJs,AJo+,KQo) and vs. that range with 99 I have 46% equity. Pot odds are 1.67:1 (38%) so I think I have to sigh/call this right?

1. 4bet and 4bet range is not the same.

2. You have about 11 samples of 4bet? Why don't you try to guess his 4bet range in this spot. Worst hand he is pushing is 99 if BTN is fish and you are a good player who SQZ/fold on this spot. If you sqz/fold so much he could push 22+ and about AQo+ ATs+ .If youre nit, worst hand he is pushing is JJ (and crying).

3. I would SQZ/fold or CC. SQZ/call is EV-.

It's pretty close. He's slightly too deep for me to make this play. 45-50BB would be my treshhold.

Two things to consider: His stats are not very loose, but the more important factor is that you made a big squeeze against two shortstackers, and kind of committed yourself. This forces him to jam a tighter range because he has little fold equity.

Make it 10 next time to make him think you can still fold. He won't flatcall often, so you don't have to worry about that.
