I liked the video and agreed with all your "tight" folds.

Hey Jack, thanks for the vid. I had a few questions/spots I disagreed with:
- you make some tight button folds but i'm assuming it was cause you lost track: fast open fold QJ97ss, KJs9s3 and fold As2s56 vs an open and a flat. Are any of these actually std folds for you ?

  • 16.30: I think you overestimate KKT2r, I usually fold that spot but I did some math to be sure and you have 44% equity vs top 10%, 39% vs top 7% and 33% vs top 5%. Your 3 way equity isnt great either: 29% vs top 35% and top 10%. I also feel like recreationnal players show up with fairly strong ranges with shallowish stacks in that spot.

  • 31.20: we have 53% equity vs a 2-25% opening range on JT3r, would a ck/call be superior to a bet ? Def a spot I struggle a lot with since turns get so tricky that deep.

  • I was surprised to see how loose you opened BvB (JJ84r, Q662ss..). Do you open that loose in regular games ? Whats the tighest/loosest you'd say you open depending on the opponent in bb ?

hello,
last hand, would you call a reraise on the turn? depends on the sizing or any sizing?

Hey Durian,

Nice vid but I had a few questions:
24:55 : is the QJ84ds SB call std ? I feel like the hand is a bit too weak to be completing from the SB, decent amount of reverse implied odds. I think I actually like calling the squeeze as played since I feel your hand will play decent oop with a low spr.

29:25 : is 3b>call 180bb deep with AsKsT8 ? Is it opponent dependant ? In that hand, what do you think about leading turn ? I'm guessing he's going to have pretty weak hands when he bets flop that small, it's probably a good card for your range since you can have AAxx, AQxx, probably more 8s then him, and I'm guessing it's a card he's almost always going to check back for those reasons.

32:13 : you defend KQT8sssx against a tight HJ open but a bit later you fold JT96ssxx otb vs a cutoff open, not sure if that makes sense to me.

38:00 : I thought you might go for a c/r on the river since his only bluff catcher is a rivered two pair (you also block a nine) and he might be tempted to bluff at that river since he kind of played it like a draw. Do you believe bet is >>>> check in that spot ?
