Great Video,
There are only very few hands you went througt but with very good explanation. I really like all yours hypothetical explanation like what if I had this, what if I was in BTN and so on.
Much more worthy than lot of hands with poor explanation.Really like this concept. Im going for Elite soon.

Hello Phil,
great video as usual.
I am playing small stakes and I have realized I am struggling with getting myself into many multiway pots too often with marginal hands.
My main question is how to distinguish hands that play better multiway to others that dont and how to adjust my pre flop play. I know it is not easy to say, but just hint of thinking would help.
For instance we are on CO and facing HJ raise.
Hand like AKT7 with king high suit plays better in HU pot because we flop often marginal hand like TPTK +gutshot/two pairs/. The equity of there hands drops in multiway pot so I can consider 3bet or fold pre.
Hands like QJTx, JT9x play better in multiway pots because we can flop more combo draw and drawing to the nuts. So we can call and take more chance to play multiway pot.
I am also thinking about my leak of BB multiway pot defend. Is it in general better to defend with hands you call with high concentration of equity like connected middle pairs rather then hands like QT76 with queen suit.
Is this correct way of thinking? Hopefully my question is not very confusing
Hi Keiran,
Thank you for this series, good concept. I watched all 3 videos.
I have question for one hand in this video. In 22:03 on KK5 with JTs73H you say that it is standard bet because we cant call with turned backdoor equity.
My question is if we bet the flop and get called and hit the backdoor draw ie.open ender or flush draw and its checked to us do we bet here or check back to reallize our equity. What factors are crucial in decision wheter to bet or not.
