Hey Tyler, awesome! special thanks for making the effort and correcting the "mistakes" from your last video! much appreciated! sorry for watching it so late - hope you still get to read the feedback

usually i am super happy with your videos and the content but todays video seemed a bit lazy to me. most hands being very standard until the river. then you got into thin valuespots. i was very happy to see you in those spots since i think its interessting how they developed in the past 12 or so months and i was looking to your input but you kinda went over it a bit quickly.
maybe you didnt put to much effort into it since its a video about 3 betting from the bb and not playin 3b pots from the bb but if thats the case i dont see what the benefit for us should be if you show us how you sqz aces or 3bet your standard linear ranges. i am a bit exxaggerating here.

i was happy to see the last hand with 82s. its something i rarely do and i would like to know more about. i was dissapointed with the explanation that you see goodplayers do it so ye whatever i try it too. usually these are the spots where your videos stand out the most and you give reasonable advice. i dont doubt that you put a lot of work into everything you do but as said this seemed a bit lazy. maybe click through every hand really quickly before you start filming to avoid a lot of standardspots in the future. maybe you can expand this topic in a future video and elaborate a bit on these trashy suited hands in your 3b range.

how easy is it to get into these kind of homegames? would you consider giving the hosts X% of your action as a freeroll in order to get in?

a limped pot costs 50cents rake. if we raise id guess most players in this playerpool fold on avg like 20-30%? and we dont pay rake in this case adding the spot where we get 3bet and fold is makes us save quite a lot of rake. how did your sb winrate change after you incorporated limping ( no absolute numbers needed just want to know if its worth the extra rake ) and what do you think is the maximum % of rake in limped pots thats beatable.

Post | wushu posted in Chatter: study on mental toughness

Dear ROICommunity!

I am a psychology student from Vienna. My diploma thesis is about the topic of mental toughness and poker. Our institute discovered some correlations between mental toughness and other sports such as basketball or taekwondo so I want to do a study with poker.

Besides mental toughness the questionnaire is about constructs like emotional control and risk taking.

Feedback from the previous studies showed that in answering the questionnaire it had immediate benefits for the interviewee because of their mental engagement with the topic.

If you want to see your results you can post your email address on the last page of the questionnaire. I will send you the results in approximately 3-4 weeks.

The questionnaire takes about 15 minutes to complete.

Thx in advance

good video. i think if you want to pick a spot in that video to support the topic of transitioning from texas it would be the AQ6ss on QJ6ss hand. its easy as an holdem player to overlook spots like that cuz one might think that our hand is stronger than it is or that we might look to strong/faceup when we lead. something i struggled with when i came over from holdem. so maybe you can look for more spots like that in case you pick up that series again.

i would like to see some hands disscued from live cashgames since they play much different from online games. i understand that the video format is a problem since its tough to remember dynamics, stacks, image etc but i think g-man in his previous videos found some nice ways to illustrate livehands. now with the wsop running and i remember seeing you in the bellagio games quite a bit in the last years i hope you might find some hands to share with us :) topics i find interessting are limping, isolation (tough cuz 3bets get coldcalled lighter by fish) and other live adjustments. cheers

min 15: how would u play the 55 hand in villain shoes? when he barrels the turn he probably gets u to fold 7x, flushdraws...so i guess its not a complet waste of chips to bet the turn?
