Another hand I used to cbet every time. Is it correct to check because I do not have a range advantage and I'm also oop? Pretty basic spot I know but man its hard to not cbet every flop.

The first major hole ive noticed in my game since coming back is cbetting too many flops both in and out of position. In the past i would cbet pretty much 100% of the time, and its honestly a tough habit to get out of because and sometimes makes me feel like I'm playing weak. I'm trying to think about how the flop interacts with both ranges and bet with a range advantage and check when the flop has equalized the equities. Villains range is probably 40% of hands as hes a super rec and has a short stack. Would it play differently if he started with a full stack?
Edit: In game my thinking was that this flop had significantly equalized our equities. It did somewhat, but I still have a significant range advantage and I chose the worst option.

Thanks for the clear and detailed reply. I feel like I’m starting in the right direction but have a ton to learn.
Regarding the high rake and this being GG which also rakes preflop, along with not so great fold equity, push this closer to a fold or did you consider that in your response?
What adjustments should I be making preflop in this environment? I guess I should tighten up significantly preflop and squeeze less?

I honestly didn't consider stack size during the hand but I definitely should be.
Why might it be bad against this stack size? Is it because of SPR making post flop play difficult? Or because I could get jammed on more often pre and have to fold?

I'm getting back into poker after a decade long break and plan on working really hard at improving my game. I just purchased From the Ground up and will be putting in some decent volume and posting lots of hands. I'm getting lost in some pretty routine spots. Please critique my play and thought process. I think its possible that I misplayed every street.
No reads on villain but he's also on my other two tables so I will assume at least somewhat competent.

Preflop: I think I'm ahead of villains range and also have a reasonable chance to take the pot town pre. I will obv fold to a 4 bet.
Flop: No reads but villains range could look something like like 22-TT, A2s+, ATo+, KJo+,QJ+ and suited connectors. This board is unlikely to have improved villains hand and I am likely still ahead.
Turn: I have no idea wtf I should be doing. His hand looks like it should be more 22-TT, or maybe A highs. He should also be floating pretty wide on the flop though right? I don't know so I check fold.

Very common spot that i'd like some input on. My only read on villain is that he's 27/12 and hasn't 3 bet yet. I feel that villains range is 66,AQ,AJ,67hh,56hh maybe 68hh? If that is his range and he will call with all of it the that makes ripping it in correct? Is there any merit to calling and stacking off on non heart turns and hopefully getting value from weaker aces that might raise flop but fold to my shove? Although letting him check back turn would be bad.

Thank you that link worked.

I also just purchased and got a dead link in PM. Contacted support but haven't got a response.
What should my plan be after checking flop? CF seems weak and a lot of villains at this stake will stab random stuff when checked to but this flop is really not good for our hand. Check call seems bad also to me. Villain should also raise pretty wide on flop I think making bet/fold bad? I'm really having a hard time getting my head around spots like this.
