Biography
I am old enough to be the dad of most of the players here, I'd bet.
played in home games for a while, but it was mostly dealer's choice and not much "real poker" - lots of wildcard/board games/acey-deucy mixed in.
I've played microstakes online, and 1/2 NL live.
my online game is fairly successful. mostly full ring cash games.
my biggest score was taking 2nd ($800) in a freeroll on Merge.
live, my results are pretty poor, though I did all right on a trip to Vegas in October.
I guess I can attribute it to game selection, as I came home & got my ass kicked at Delaware Park stupidly playing on a Tuesday afternoon. (I get Election Day off!).
I will stick to Friday/Sat/Sunday there going forward.
try to find soft games w/ recreational players who are worse than me.
wow! that was a long time ago!
since then, I was a breakeven reg at Delaware Park (but a rakeback/promo winner) for a year or so. then the Pandemic.
Regulated poker came to Pennsylvania and I dabbled in the micros. I won, but never really stuck with it or played any real volume.
Trying to play more now, taking a shot at 50nl
