Hello,
Lately I have been trying to solve a poker game, like no limit stud but only one card face down. To find the optimal bet sizing on last card, I was thinking make a f(x) function that represents the EV of the bettor and maximize it. Any thoughts? Is there already like a function to apply this?
Also, if someone here likes programming and solving not so complicated games, please message me and we can make some business

@20:13 Qh9s hand. If instead you had a blue queen and a blue 9 came, would you consider checking back to bluff catch river since you don't block backdoor hearts? Or keep betting has still more EV?

Yeah, too small sample but the fact is that my redline at any moment doesnt go up.
Could it mean Im calling too much on flop or turn to fold river? Maybe select better my XC range and turn some SD value hands into bluffs?

So I started to play again online 6max cash few months ago. I used to just play live cash but my level couldn't improve very much anymore, so started the online world again to study and improve.
On almost 30k hands I have a winrate of about 9bb/100 on zoom 50, which is a nice thing. But I have a big concern with my redline. Of course Im doing good some things, but it doesnt sounds me logical for a good player to have this redline.
Can you say something about my game and which areas should I focus to improve?

@20:30, what about value betting river? We are blocking almost all draws, so villian has some kind of showdown value (even more after calling on paired turn). Very hard for villian to have boats there, plus we holding almost all the draw cards means villian has not any of them, inducing him to hero call by putting us on a draw. Also, we would be barreling this river with our missed draws

@30:00 We are behind of 3 combos AJs (assuming AJdd bets flop), 1 combo of KQs and 3 combos of KK. We are ahead of 6 AA, 6 JJ, 8 AQ and 12 AK, all of those which call one more bet on turn, so 32:7 ahead/behind I think we have a clear value bet and our range is well protected against a check raise for having all those nutty hands on flop you said. Thoguhts?
