Great video, thank you.

What makes you assume your opponents have strong ranges? They looked somewhat capped to me. You have all the AKs and AKo and JJ and KK here. I think a cbet is fine and takes down the pot the majority of the time.

Ah, ok, you put villain all-in on the turn. I get it. Apologies.

Are you folding if Villain jams turn? You've put $21.60 in out of a $29.70 stack. Kind of committed. (so why not jam if your bet is to either maximise FE or get max value from a worse hand?)

Yes yes yes to this suggestion. Netflix has a rewind 10 secs button and a fast forward 10 secs button which I use regularly when I haven't heard a piece of dialogue clearly.

In the 67o defend from bb, when we lead the turn with trips do you say we should be sizing up because we are representing a polarized range or because we should be representing a polarized range?

April 17, 2019 | 12:36 p.m.

'I think your hand's just too strong to call the river' =/= 'I think your hand's too strong to just call the river'. I think Jason probably meant the latter.

8:12 we bet 2/3 pot w AQ on 723 board, oop. Is this a standard sizing? What does this size accomplish that smaller sizings don't?
22:45 What dynamics have come in to play that have Dzmitry c/r then get it all in on flop w one pair vs your bb squeezing range? Have you been super active? (Hard to know what your VPIP is given that we're skipping through hands that you fold preflop).

Excellent thought processes again. More of the same please.

I don't understand Proudflop's raise to 3bb from a 4bb stack utg w Q8o at 1:45. Misclick?

Comment | Ben Lafferty commented on Where to start?

Conventional wisdom would say you should start playing single table SNGs, and once you've learnt the foundations you can progress to MTTs, or multi-table SNGs (e.g. the 180 man tournaments on Stars). Ryan Martin does a solid series of videos here on MTT fundamentals - find them in the Learning Paths - and he comes from a SNG background which he says has been invaluable because you practice every day at a variety of stack depths and you get plenty of Heads Up experience which even good MTT regs don't get that often.

Thank you thank you. Yeah, it's prob not a stat in itself. I'll search my database using those parameters you mentioned and will let you know if I find anything interesting (possible topic for a future video ;) )

Great video, thank you Tom.
One question: in the slide concerning secondary equity you say that backdoor straight draws cannot complete on a paired board. Could you clarify this please? What about JT87 on a 993 board, turn 6, river 5?
