@22:30 sb vs bb open 88 flop QJx we c/c
I finding it tricky to construct a c/c range here. Would it be super nitty to c/f all under pairs that dont have a spade? and c/c ones with spades? For instance 88 no spade c/f. Or is that awful plan

Biggest problem I have with my game is theory. I read about different concepts but have trouble implementing them into my game for instance bluff raising to flop value ratios. All your video formats are quality.

Hey all I started playing mtts and noticed that early position is a problem for me. Not sure how to approach the situation with about 10bb.
When i consider shoving should i choose hands that are ahead of calling ranges? aware looking at whos in blinds is important since they get better price bla bla but not sure how to estimate profitability of shoving some hands early.
should i just be using icmizer for this spot to work out a range?

March 20, 2018 | 7:11 a.m.
@steve paul
very helpful post thank you
March 19, 2018 | 11:34 a.m.
@steve paul or anyone that can clarify please
EV = 0.38 * 4.5 + 0.15 * (-9.5) + 0.47 * x, where x is our EV when
called So to break even, we need x = -0.6
need -0.6 EV when called right? In above math our ev when called is -1.425 .15*-9.5 =-1.425
so we definitely should not be 3 betting in this spot right?
or is x equity needed?

@7:32 c/f the AKo as pfr how do we balance that? if we are c/f AK then were likely also c/f AQ AJ KQs(nofd) doesnt that mean we are getting owned on those flops by c/f way to much?
shouldnt our strategy involve a balanced c/c range?
March 17, 2018 | 4:24 a.m.
@32:00 is that a good spot to create a donking range? I cant figure it out

just to double check im following.
NLHE make nut 2-card flush no FH possible with A3hh on Ks8h2h
we make flush 35% of time.
20% chance to make 2 card flush with no possible FH.
20/35 = 57% of our flush will be 2 card flush with no possible FH.
Where are you getting 45? or you you mean 45 ish its like 43% right?

Hey all im new to MTTs is there a video series that explain icmizer and mtt math for newbies?
Can you please clarify something regarding gto trainer please, anyone. Lets say pio strat is very complicated with lots of mixing. Can we lock a strat using lock node in pio to make the solver play simpler strat then practice that simple strat in gto trainer?
What i mean by simpler strat is for instance pio says bet AQs 50% AJs50% to make it simpler i could lock in 100% AQs combos.
gto trainer is confusing is that how it can be used?
