actually I'm working through pokers 1% by Ed Miller, and it's part of the exercises-just wasn't sure as you continue to define your range and what percent to continue with or fold how the top part of my range factors in. Im in the bb with 55 so I just call a raise- now there are certain hands I could have there that I would 3bet (AAKK AK etc) the exercise has me build my entire range of hands I would play and then you work from that range how many combos you continue with or get rid of if facing action. So having my 3bets there affects how many combos I have to choose to continue with or dump. Hope I explained it better.

*I''m building a range and I'm new at this so thought why not ask the guys in high stakes as they do this shit all the time, hope you don't mind. * I'm analyzing a hand and constructing a range to see if I made the right decisions
So I put all the hands I would play from that spot for a raise but not the hands I would 3 bet into the range. From here I selected hands to value bet hands to bluff and hands to check. But what has happened to my hands I would 3 bet? should they still be considered as part of the range or leave them out since I didn't 3 bet.
The goal is to whittle down hands on each street and doesn't seem I'm gonna have a lot to whittle with lol
