I loved your breakdown of hand 1, I was actually thinking of folding there because I find that people are not really capable of folding high flushes as often as they should be in a spot like this. I feel like in game I would have shoved, but given our read on the opponent, I feel like risking 14.6k and change to win 7.8k and change is probably a losing play vs a range that probably have trouble folding unless he is an excellent hand reader, and would realize that you would really never be bluffing except in this rare instance. I dont see him folding high flushes much more than half the time, but i play lower stakes than you, so i could be mislead by playing inferior opponents. Really an interesting hand though where I dont see any option being far superior in terms of profitability. Those kinds of hands are what makes PLO the best game ever created.

Game theory wise, vs this guy, this has to be a call right? Otherwise we basically don't have a calling range less than AA? I think we have to call, and it'd be the worst hand you'd call with. Exploitative wise, I really have no idea. Given your reads and the fact that all draws miss, still think we are going to be good over 30 percent of the time, no? Either way tough spot. I feel like against some people always folding here is okay, and against some people we are always calling, as I feel most people don't balance here. This guy seems like he falls into the latter category to me, but you would know better than me.

Well played imo. +EV for sure, but ridiculously high variance. If bankroll isn't a concern, I think it's a fine call. We have good equity vs a 3 and 4 bettor's range, if we have either of flush draws live we are often around 30 percent. A good portion of the time they will have each other dominated with AAKx and AKQJ type hands, and prehaps AAxx and AAxx and KKxx, Or KQJT 4 ways, and stuff like that. Happens more than you'd think, and we get it in really good. Flops aren't really going to be that difficult to play imo, the only dilemna is to check or lead when you flop well, Too many opponents are just going to get in bad with AA no matter for me to not want to call here.
Do you change up the size of your c bets when you 3 bet pre based on board textures, or do you tend to just stick with a default size based on your opponent and range vs them? I've been all over the place in terms of c bet sizing in 3 bet pots, I'm currently going with about 2/3 on favorable boards for my range and checking the unfavorable ones, and playing more polarized, but I've found success in the past going with smaller sizes and betting frequently. Do you ever toy around and change it up based on opponent tendencies in game?
