Super nice vid and explanations on how to think vs opponents in micro tourneys. Very helpful to learn how to master hyper tourneys, SnGs and micro tournaments. I play the lowest at the moment and there the skill level of people is so bad that I tighten up sometimes, they bust themselves way more than here on this $8 level so I only wait for spots with really big edge for maximum edge (falling out costs more at nanotourneys as you would have very good chances).

I would also add "sanity" to the lost virtues, this one often gets overlooked :)

I like this video as well, some of the topics are a bit difficult though, such as "cutting out 3bet range of the opponent on flop cause he just called", but I feel it is maybe invitation to more learning and deeper learning. I pause the video often and watch it real slow

Super nice vid, very relatable! (I currently play lowest of micros but it is very similar)

17:50 and another reason why it is good to check/call A6 on 6xx is to induce bluffs i think. Like, your calling range from BB doesnt really hit that board often, so he could be quite eager to get us off our QJ-whatever type of hands.

I think very good question the topic of this video. I loved the visualisation, and got the result, that I need to connect more with my children. Many people make this mistake of not being playful and not being connected to their children, while when this togetherness is really utilized, it can bring amazing dreams, for example, I created a gamedev business together with them where they draw art that I animate and put to games. So this courage to take life steps similar to the values of my children is important.

nice content, watched all 3 videos of this series. I don't play Rush/Zoom/Fastfold, but good to hear top coach explaining low stakes NLHE

if you 3bet the KQs at 3:41 and get 4bet pre, you have to fold right. so depends how bad the opponent is. I also lean more towards calling pre just because people consider it fishy and you can use it to bluff postflop, 3betting gives you a reg image

"most popular" means the English-speaking Western world I think (EU+US)... i love Asia more.. there the fame is like more local and not so much hyped by technology

Looks like you have worked with grown-up people a lot. In the first 8 minutes you gave clear understanding about grown-up population that I have been completely unaware of. I saw them, but I didn't know why they behave that way. Looks like a lot of knowledge, im not yet ready to watch the rest at once.
For example, someone buys a TV but every time he comes home from work he works at home not enjoying the TV. He thinks, I must work more, there is no time to enjoy. There are thousands like that. Like, there is nothing wrong with 5hour or 10hour workweek, like, nothing bad would happen if you did that, but they believe it has to be 50 hours work every week. I remember once in my poker career before the 8-year-break I worked 0,5hours one month, laughed and quit, having earned enough. I was so happy then, like super happy.
You gave a clear profile of these people that I was missing. It is allowed to work much much less, it is even more normal for people and would make many more happy, but they strive for unrealistic work goals and success so hard that they end up feeling bad and unhappy. Thanks for sharing! Will watch the rest soon some day. :)

I love looking back at the past achievements the most.
This year already:
-got out of depression
-improved relationships with children alot
-picked up poker again
-won lot of money in FLHE
-moved fully to NLHE
-finished a small business school
-launched a gamedev business
-moved fully together with wife
This is really helpful. In the past I only used to look at my poker graph for this type of patience/good feeling.

Have you neglected your values when setting (poker) goals too often?
Is your short term behaviour aligned with your long-term vision?
Yes, when I started meditation, few years later I thought poker to be completely irrelevant. I still had like $130 left from my career on PokerStars and I went to $3/$6 NLHE 6max table or something and pushed it all-in and won the blinds.
Here I had neglected my original value of "being a good athlete". I thought money is evil and feelings of despair and negativity had taken over and clouded my memory of the original value of "the good athlete".
Correct way to deal with the situation would have been to withdraw the money and put good use to it, or, play on suitable stakes with the correct "good athlete" mindset in mind.

97o 26:30minute vs reg BB vs SB, i would fold? so you expect edge vs him postflop in position with call. is this your lowest calling range? like, 75o would be a fold? as played the 3bet is meant to get him fold his openraise right ? : )

Old goals: NLHE professional player right away from today
New goals: moving to NLHE in next year fully, semi-pro, main focus on gamedev business

So I have 2 kids (7 and 5 years old boys); before children I was online Fixed Limit pro for 2 years in my early twenties, making about $5000/year, more than enough in Estonia alone, rent covered by parents. Then I went travelling with poker money, to India in the end, and coming back, made family. So like 10 years have passed from my pro Fixed Limit Holdem career; but now I wish to start a NLHE career. So I turn to RunItOnce for NLHE advice. I am surprised and reminded again by the amount of big fear that happens at NLHE tables. So is there a way to mix this lifestyle (NLHE semi-pro in the future) with sports games with kids (for happiness, social) in the future idea-wise? I am happy and laughing person and love poker, i am just thinking what the best approach/lifestyle would be to get to NLHE semi-pro.

prioritize relationships with children with the goal of improving them; mantra chanting at least 15 min first thing in the morning
