I think it is a consistent line and you are telling a good story. Anyhow, an oldschool flop cbet would be just fine aswell.

Would like to read some other opinions.

I do see a river check here as well, but I wouldn't say it is a default fold. Depending on the aggressiveness of villain and the board texture (drawy or not) we can c/c here.

By shoving you are isolating yourselve vs the top end of his range. More or less you are vbetting for him and give him an easy decision by calling his monsters and folding anything less than a good Queen or so. Check/Calling can induce light vbets from him (JJ, TT, KQ, AQ) and maybe even a bluff some time.

btw, not that it would make a difference on how the hand played, I would reraise bigger preflop with effective Stacks ~100BB and a coldcaller being oop.

I dont think I find a fold here.
Being too afraid of a T makes you miss out on lots of value from PPs.
Being a russian nit doesn't necessarily make him a thinking player.

pretty much what i thought. Im afraid I usually play the high variance line. :)

I do think late regging is a solid strategy for the 2x and 3x turbo rebuys with a huge addon/rebuy ratio.

For standard rebuys I would always prefer playing the deep and soft rebuy period.
