button minraise you fold QJo sb... cant you call or 3bet?
sb raises 2.5 you debate T7o defend in bb. how can you ever fold there?
utg raise you 3b utg1 tt and say plan is to sometimes fold to a 4bet... isnt call way better than 4b fold?

great video. your polar example hj vs bb-- seems like a very tight defend range!

Amazing. I would love to learn more about what the OOP check ranges look like on some of these boards that have a reasonably high lead %. Intuitively, is there a good way to think about these ranges? Obviously you’d expect a high cbet% from an observant villain and you’d need to respond with high cr range, but what does that range look like? Do you just occasionally mix some very strong hands into that range or is it more balanced?

Ok, this game has passed me by, but I did a lot of work on this back in the day.
For me, I like to donk flops on board textures that arent bad for my perceived range, and on boards where AA didn't feel good about 3b/calling me and would rather call down. The reason it worked very well for me is that opponents tended to call me down w overpairs, fold hands that had enough equity to continue on flop, and never bluffed me enough.
The kids of flops i had a leading range were low, coordinated boards. I'd have a bet, 3 betting range of sets and very good draws, to keep anyone honest who tried thought about raising my flop bet (which in all honesty was probably a good strategy!), and I'd have a ton of bet, fold hands ranging from gutshots/completely nothing to top pair type hands. I didn't lead hands I would be inclined to bet/call flop with, I just moved those to my cc flop range. Worked like a gem, but that was a long time ago!
Is AQo bb vs button pretty deep standard to 3b/fold?
