I think this is a call because our hand is well disguised and we would have the implied odds considering we can get value on the river ~1/3 psb minimum.

You should check out the books 'Poker Mindset' and 'Mental Game of Poker'

imo don't just go through the motions... UNDERSTAND why you are doing what you are doing

You have to rethink your view on poker and realistic expectations (without underselling yourself) to your future winnings... the swings you are experiencing by chasing loses at higher limits are not only detrimental to your bottom line but also your view of poker and longevity as well .. psychologically you may be sabotaging your poker career... at least that's what happened to me

If I could do it all again I would have just tried to get in a million hands as fast as possible and taken it from there... busting rolls costs a poker player an exponential amount of money

my thinking is 'how can you have an issue late in the tournament if you don't know you are late in the tournament?' it's because you are not focused on that.. obv not a final fix but works good enough when any anxiety starts

lot of it is ego.. projecting past villains who bluffed in similar spots with new villain.. the rush of picking off a bluff is a lot better for me than pulling off a bluff being a TAG... which we don't grind for the rush but we are human ... also I am not a monkey tilter I am a 'station tilter' which I realized a couple months back.. Lastly thinking through the hand clearly afterwards I almost always find a fold... playing at lower limits was a huge contributer for me

it is extremely important to stay positive and work on all aspects of your game as much as possible

I run good when I forget the bad beats and downswings and focus on the next hand and/or next session... You have to pry a bad beat story out of me because I feel like if I think about it too long (personally for me) I will lose confidence and play sub optimally

To now contradict myself I have been on a pretty bad downswing but I have been playing pretty badly as well and recognizing this is making me get stronger.. playing underolled has led to many mistakes and poor long term results
