So this is my first post on the forum and I haven't been even reading most of the posts here but I wanted to start a journal of the beginning of my poker career from 25$ to a 1000$ bankroll. I used to play poker some years ago at FullTilt, but after building my bankroll, I eventually gambled it away. I got into poker again a few months ago, started studying all the time and most of it useless to me now as a beginner and I even blew a few bankrolls. That's when I realised I have to stick to the basics and get comfortable with them before I run away with my fantasies of being a poker pro. So I started the pokerprofessor.com How to Win at Poker course (go check it out). At first it seemed like a site for small children but as I started reading, I realised that the structure of the course was perfect to build a good foundation on theory and practice. I opened a account on 888Poker and after reading the first few articles I also took the first steps of the bankroll challenge and quickly lost 4 sessions in a row. Thats now and thats when I decided to start this poker journal. So I made this for myself to keep structure on my poker journey and to network with you guys and try to get some constructive criticism.
You can find the bankroll challenge explained here: http://www.pokerprofessor.com/university/how-to-win-at-poker/bankroll-challenge
tl;dr I realised I suck at poker and started this journal to keep up with myself and to discuss with you along the way.
I will update this journal after every bankroll challenge stage, and maybe include some intresting hands.
