You have a pair of 8's. I don't think the average bovada player will bet/fold an overpair on that flop. They might bet/fold a T, but they don't have that many Tx combos. Construct a range that will 3-bet, and then bet that flop. From that range, what hands that are better than 2nd pair are folding to our flop raise?

I don't understand why you called the all-in on the turn. What do you think you are beating, or at the least getting the correct odds to call it off with?

Well, you made 10k, so you are doing a lot better than most players. If you break that out to an hourly wage over 3 years it might not be so hot. I'd be curious to see what games you are playing and how many hands you have played. I also wonder why you deposited so much money? I prefer to make one deposit, grind it up to the level that I can make my highest winrate at, and then just withdraw.

If you raise in this spot and the villain folds, then you had the best hand.

Maybe this is wrong, but I don't worry about balance on Bovada. I prefer a call in this spot. If villain has an overpair we will still be able to extract some value if we bink the turn.
