I used to do this more often, but still occasionally find that I'll bet, someone will raise, I'll run through what I can beat, evaluate the situation, decide I,m behind, mean to fold, and suddenly I either call, or more likely, shove. WTF! Does anyone else do this? I think it has to do with feeling someone is trying to run me over too frequently, but generally my first read was right. I'm improving and don't do this much, but still. It sucks. Any explanation for this brain lapse?

It's an upraised pot so if he has a flush draw it probably isn't big cards. In a tmt like that I think raise his flop bet big. Like2500 which pretty much commits him. If he shoves and you get it in on flop and he gets there u still have half your stack. I wonder if you rr his turn bet if he would fold a small flush?

What happened? Did you call? What did he show?
