I would deffo 3bet on btn here.

As played - folding river is fine with 2 players behind.

I think a turn bet for value/protection is fine but can see why it is a little thin. With the gutshot I'm more inclined towards betting. They shouldn't have too many 9x in their range - only thing I think that really beats you is TT from the CO.

I think if SB had AA KK QQ he would barrel turn so the check caps his range a fair bit.

Folding river is fine because SB will have a ton of 9x in their range

Hi all,

I am a breakeven 2nlz player who has recently started taking my game a little more seriously and have hence purchased an Essential RIO subscription but I am slightly overwhelmed with all of the content.

The Learning Paths are perhaps still a little too advanced with me and I appreciate that I would be a good target for the From the Ground Up path but I am thinking

I am looking for videos which will help me to start thinking more multi-layered about the game. The 1-a video and James Hudson's Range videos for example are perfect for this - introducing a concept that is often talked about and usually assumed knowledge of in other videos. These videos made the concepts accessible and were not only good theoretically but also provided a good grounding in which to take them and apply.

If people have any recommendations for these kinds of videos, I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you
Sef

What about if the turn came a blank? More inclined to call in this spot or still a fold?

In the 2nlz I think a linear range is much better to a polar one. As played, fold is fine - I would fold up to JJ here tbh

Hi all,

I have just joined RIO Essential and am a little overwhelmed by the amount of content - I am looking for recommendations for relative beginner cash games.

I am beating 2nl zoom over a large sample and looking to move up to 5nlz but I am undoubtedly making some huge mistakes in my game.

Has anyone been in a similar position and can recommend useful videos which I can apply/use in my zoom game? If this has been reposted, feel free to point me in the right direction.

Thanks!
