I'm really happy with the format of this video, the theory part is very simple but precious. Can't wait for part II. Well done!!

Very nice vid! ;) Just one question about last hand when you 3bet pre with T987 and then cbet on A42r. You choose a 60ish% bet size, is it an option to cbet smaller or the flop is not dry enough? ty

Post | s0ulcrusHer posted in PLO: CO range

Hi guys I have some noobz questions about CO opening range.
I should open hands than have good playability rather than polarized hands of course but going into some specific scenarios I'd like to know vs avg blinds what opening ranges are "not terrible" I mean of course I have to adapt to tight/loose pre blinds, BU vpip and 3bet, Ftocbet of those guys but given a default range speaking of "categories" of hands how wide are you openining (normal 6max tables, not zoom / plo10-25):
-Axxx ss I think it still requires good connectivity in the CO my grey area is something like A764/A975
-AB+mid pairs like AQ88/ AK77ss I thinks those are folds, sometimes opens
-DS disconnected AxBx how wide I have to open those? A4Q7/ AK45 how "disconnected" con I accept the AB** stars cards?
-BBBx ss with a dangler are all openable but when it comes to JT9x is still the same?
-Bad and naked high pairs JJxx/QQxx/KKxx rainbow I think I don't mind opening KKxx but def folding even bad ss JJ and QQ
-Top gap rundowns given the fact than I'm opening pretty much all no gap run, and mid+ bottom gap run, how wide I should open top gap runs? If blinds are tight and weak is it ok to open even QT97ss?

Ty for some advices, as I said I know it depends on the blinds but given "not-extreme blinds/Bu tendencies" like if we're filtering a 100k sample, for each category how wide are you opening? I add some comments about my tendencies so if you notice big leaks let me know it :) Tx

Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (5 Players) BN: $8.03
SB: $1.37
BB: $21.46
UTG: $5.31 (Hero)
CO: $3.75
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is UTG with A A 5 4
Hero raises to $0.17, CO calls $0.17, BN calls $0.17, 2 folds
BU 83/27/15 FvsFcb 78/ FvsTcb 0 (0/2) /FvsRcb 0 nr.hands:272
Flop ($0.58) 3 T T
Hero bets $0.32, CO folds, BN calls $0.32
I should make it slightly bigger but their ranges at PLO5 are not dynamic according to the size so it's ok if I take some floats from worse FDs. If one of them pots I think it's close btw calling and folding 'cos they're never making a raise with anything but a T with good side cards so even if I have the right odds to call a raise I'm OOP and OTT If I miss I'm ck/folding, If I hit is still difficult to get payed and there are some reverse odds If they close their full house and I'll just pay them off.
Turn ($1.22) 3 T T 6
Hero checks, BN checks
My ck is really bad Imo, his range is plenty of FD/ strange floats/ weak T , I'd make a 0.78 / 0.82 bet , If he raises i'ts an easy fold, if he just flats and the river it's clubs I'm betting for value, if it's a 2/7 non-club I'm still b/f If it's an ace I'm betting slightly more than the two previous scenarios. If it's a blank I'm just ck/ calling to bluffcatch 'cos I think if he bets he either has a T x (x=full on the river) or a busted draw turned into a bluff, if he was valuating good his T or had a small full house on both flop and turn I don't think he was slowplaying that much.
River ($1.22) 3 T T 6 2
Hero checks, BN bets $1.16, Hero folds
Final Pot BN wins $1.16
Rake is $0.06
