Recommendation: when you burn a bunch of timebank and only have 100bb, hop out of the pool and then back in to refill the bank. Nice video

Your intuitions on this spot are good! A5s can likely be played in all 3 lines. With exploitative reads (ie a weak player opening or a very weak player in the blinds) it can be played as a call or raise.

At equilibrium A5s likely falls in a raise range at some reasonably high percent, but the frequency depends on how you construct all your 3bets. It’s worth noting the field probably over uses this hand as a 3bet, but again it just depends on what other hands you’re reraising with.

A6s is usually a fold unless you have a reason to believe you can over-realize with it due to suboptimal opponents (or maybe really deep stacks).

Open raise size matters too. The bigger they open (3x for example), the more you fold these hands; smaller—you have more latitude to use your judgement.

I'm curious what underlies your intuition that K8 is close on flop at 19:40. I was thinking auto call (and PIO supports that w/ PIO generated PF ranges and many sizing options on all streets--this combo is a pure call, netting ~$10 more than fold). Obviously I can just run the spot myself, but I think it is just as important to see what your in game thought process is in spots where my intuition runs counter to yours. Thanks!

(Rly appreciate the Green Plastic circa 2006 "I'm just gonna pitch it" phraseology. Old school af.)

Ben,

I've watched literally every one of your videos, and I'd like to give some constructive feedback on how you display PIO on here.

When I use the program, I always click the "strategy" button when viewing the grid. You tend to click either check, call, or bet/raise when displaying results. This can be pretty confusing b/c the viewer cannot always follow the mouse cursor, so sometimes it's really hard to know what we are looking at once you start grinding out the specifics of a given spot. Especially when you're switching back and forth between different nodes. It would be SUPER helpful if you displayed results by clicking the "strategy" button in the future when discussing any given sim. I think others probably agree...? Thank you so hard. <3
