Really enjoyed this as well.
There is a spot where you defend BB vs BTN with K4o, and flop is Kc7c8x. You mention you don't have much of a check-raising range because of how many hands you will have that just want to call. For value, you mention check-raising a hand like KQ, especially with the Queen of clubs.
How does one approach a spot like this to determine a reasonable value vs bluffing check-raise ratio on the flop, and what kind of hands we want to choose to check-raise bluff with? When does it (if ever) make sense to check-raise a weak paired hand (like a weak bottom pair) if we think we can deny equity versus an aggressive opponent or should we keep choosing hands with worse showdown value?

Most insightful live play videos for Essential membership in a while. Would like to see more, lower stakes could be more relatable but I don't think it's a problem at all. Thanks.

Definitely enjoyed this format, looking forward to part 2.
With the K7s when you c-bet/3bet on 448r, what does our value range look like there? And does it matter? Since he is so polarized wouldn't we often flat there with big pairs and better? Can we consider flatting K7s which is ahead of his bluffs or is there just more immediate EV in reraising since we can't play that well after calling the flop?

Good video, thanks Chris! Wp

Miss you already. GLGL with your goals and future.

Nice video, thanks! Could you comment what the stats are on your HUD?

The first number of the HUD, top left corner, seems to be the player's big blinds.

At 25:00 you copy someone's name after getting 3bet BB vs BTN, where do you look them up to get a better read from them?

Nice video!
25:20 Bottom right after he ships the river and we fold two pair, what do you think about his range and what's the bottom of your calling range given pot odds?

Very good video, look forward to the next one. I like your review videos so I'm fine if you keep doing more of that, if you do a theory video then ICM sounds good.

Congrats, great video and series. Would like to hear some additional thoughts on pads' bust hand at 37:37. I guess with the history between them it could be standard as he might still get called by worse and there's not that many options left on the turn considering that SPR.

Good questions, also interested in these hands.

Had this problem in Firefox, but not in Chrome. Try Chrome?

Had made earlier comment about FF not working well, here is my followup. Updated FF, I can now see the Like and Settings button and it is not foggy when paused now. However, still no time, volume, or maximize option, even after switching to HTML5 player.
Chrome has been working well (assuming it's not supposed to have volume options either).

I like the new look and the video intro is definitely better.
That said, the video player seems to have some Firefox issues.
I cannot find the option to maximize or change the replay speed, and I'm not too keen on the video getting blurry when you pause it. I used to pause it to think about the spot in the video so that's an inconvenience. Also I don't see the time in videos like before, so it's impossible to make time stamp comments. I basically get midori's image without the Like and the Settings icons.
Seems like the new video player runs more smoothly on Chrome, just logged in there and I can see every icon, speed, time, and it doesn't even get blurry when you pause it!
So, that's nice, but would rather log in through Firefox eventually. Note: problem might be with my settings, but I didn't change anything before-after the update and it used to work well.

I'd say it depends on the size of blinds and average stacks? As I understand it, FGS takes into account the next (or next few) hands of play. If the blinds are still a small percentage of stacks, people aren't really going to be jamming/calling off wide. The higher the blinds, the more stacks should be going in the next hands and so the more FGS should be considered.
I'd seriously suggest toying around with FGS on Icmizer with different stack sizes for the example in your question. You'll get more out of that than any general answers people can give you. The real question is exactly how much should you be widening your range in that spot and that obviously depends on your opponent's jamming range and the blinds/stack sizes, and how will people be playing in the next few hands.

Great series, really enjoyed looking at the late stages of the tournament. Definitely wouldn't have minded 5 more minutes of analysis of other people's play during the FT, but great job and GG!

Nice video! Would definitely like to see a part 2 of the CAP HH review.

24:08 AQo vs Paffchen's 3bet, if the BB didn't jam, was your plan to 4bet get it in vs the 3bet? Around what stack depth would you consider just flat preflop in that spot?

Pretty insightful commentary, really liked hearing about how you were adjusting your gameplan during the FT. Also interested in if you would reconsider the flop x/R with J6s for the reasons Raphael mentioned. Really good videos, glgl!

It is marked as NLHE, so it does not come up when you are looking for MTT content. Maybe you can run that up the ladder, Paul.

9:15 top left UTG jam with K9s off 11bbs, although every stack is under 9bbs and most are around 5bbs. Seemed a bit wide, although ran it in ICMizer and it shows a profit of +137 chips in Nash. Blinds are 500/1k w 100 antes.
Does the rebuy period make you more willing to jam here? Are you fine jamming as long as it is slightly profitable in Nash, or how bad do you think is it to only jam hands that make at least half a SB (ATo, A9s, KTs, QJs, KQo, 44+) or a complete SB?

Good series, would be great to see the rest of the footage.

Really good series, thanks. You made it look too easy.

10:10, K7o (The Cyclone) seems like a clear +cEV jam with 2 bbs, however being 2 from the money, how much should we take ICM into account? It's a long shot but we could potentially be in the money in a couple of hands. If K7o is too strong, would you be folding worse off-suit Kx hands?
Aug. 27, 2014 | 3:40 a.m.
41:10 AJo bustout hand from the Ceratops. Would you consider 3b/calling the original opener and folding vs a cold rejam or two? If not, around how many more BBs would you need to have in your stack to make 3b/deciding your default play here?
(There was a similar spot in the first episde of the series where you rejammed around 25bbs with 55 BTN vs CO (iirc) and commented 3b/folding vs the blinds is likely best.)
Aug. 25, 2014 | 8:39 p.m.
Did you find out if ICMizer takes the call/fold option into account when calculating EV or if it assumes we're always rejamming our stack?
Jonna, do you publish all your reviews or only 5 star ones?
Would you be willing to share how many people have reviewed your courses, and if you have ever offered discounts on the programs for them?
