Thanks a lot!

Is it possible to run a certain spot over multiple flops on Monkersolver like on Pio? I mean, for example, a spot of BTN raise and BB defend, and then see how both BB and BTN behave but on multiple flops.

And is it faster, slower or similar to PioSolver? And last question, con you nodelock?

Thanks again!

What differences are there vs PioSolver for NLH, aside from the ability of solving Multiway Pots? Should MonkerSolver have similar results compared to Pio if you run the same spot?
So, basically what are the pros and cons vs Pio?

Thanks!

Nice work ethic! Keep going! I´m just about to start getting into PLO as well but maintaining NLH as my main game still. GL!

Gogogo! I´m going through my biggest downswing ever, over 6k bbs already and I usually have a pretty good mindset but that downswing took the best of me.

My decision of moving temporarily down in stakes was the best ever, and thanks to the down I learned many many valuable things, being the most important leaving my ego aside if you want to make money. I think in the long term with all I have/am learning because of the swing will actually earn me money and most importantly, make me happier in life.

GL!

As I already saw on 2+2 a couple people moving to Vegas and I have planned to go there aswell again this summer I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread to recollect information such as where to find the best cashgames, mtt's, best places to stay, to have dinner, etc.

If a post like already exists i'm sorry and I hope someone can delete it.

@fluxrazza No, I don't think so, I'd bet that amount to get called by some Kx so I don't think it's necessary to bet more there.

Feb. 19, 2015 | 10:43 a.m.

Well I ended up winning but it's still probably a bad call...

IMO turn is a good spot to bet but river seems fine to. You clearly have to fire on one of both street i'd say. That A on river really favours your range cause you have a ton of Axs that would play this way so you can represent that pretty well, and you can make fold a lot of hands that are beating you at that moment.

I would bet some around 40-45$ probably.

Comment | pokerpan1 commented on Could GTO be flawed?

IMO GTO should be learned in order to be unexploitable, but at the moment you realize your opponent is exploitable then exploiting>GTO. So in this case per example, you play GTO until you realize opponent is exploitable (because he´s to tight). On this moment you shouldn´t care that much about GTO and focus more on exploiting his tight play.

Overall the optimal strategy is (IMO obs): Play GTO and deviate from GTO to exploit opponents when possible.

Feb. 15, 2015 | 4:48 p.m.

I think it doesn´t matter that much unless villain knows you bluff a ton on this boards and he starts overcalling in order to exploit your bluffratio. In this case you can include QQ as its in your top range, or even JJ-AT to re-exploit his exploitive overcall.

Don´t know if I explained myself right as my english isnt to good...

On the otherside if villain doesn´t know, or you bet that much given his high fold vs river bet% then I think the amount of bluffs shouldn´t be a reason to value-bet thinner in this spot with hands such as QQ´s.

Feb. 15, 2015 | 4:34 p.m.

His defend seems pretty tight.

IMO its a check back on river. Even knowing a high% of the times we are winning here I don´t see any worse hand calling here, maybe some random Txss but that´s about it, cause he´s surely 3b JJ pre. I don´t think he´s calling with his 8x even given his low fold to CB river.

Feb. 15, 2015 | 12:44 p.m.

Folding 60% seems to high to me, probably should go for some around 50-55% fold to 3b.

Feb. 15, 2015 | 12:37 p.m.

Suicide IMO. You can probably directly give up on flop.

Feb. 14, 2015 | 12:45 a.m.

Fold on Flop i´d say. Pretty easy

Comment | pokerpan1 commented on Is this a X/F?

I don´t think shipping is a good option here, as I don´t expect villain to call w/AJ there (maybe he doesn´t even call the 3b with that). So shoving there should only iso us with better hands than ours or some in best case with the same hand. X/F seems the best option to me.

Feb. 13, 2015 | 10:47 a.m.

I think best option is to give up here. But that really depends on villain I´d say. Given the situation and ranges it doesnt seem we will have 43% FE here.

Also you can add on villains range all Axhh he will call a 3b with and probably dont fold the river, so FE is even less.

Feb. 13, 2015 | 10:40 a.m.

Thar CO OR seems to loose to me. I think on the flop you can opt for the X-C line as you got some showdown value with A-High, but CBetting should be fine too. Once you get to the turn I´d just call he´s Raise given you got the NutFlush and he normally shouldn´t raise any worse than a Nutflush so hes ranged is really bluff-heavy and want to give him the opportunity to bluff river.

So Triple X-C is one option and the other one is: CB, CB-Call Raise, X-C.

PS: Agree, that must be worst raise ever from villain.

Feb. 13, 2015 | 10:34 a.m.

Saw on a vid from Teunuss that he likes to CB here hands like 88-99 and X-C others like TT-JJ given the amount of overcards you need to protect from. I didnt study that concept yet to know how profitable it is, but it seemed interesting to consider.

In my opinion you should X-C the flop, and be less exploitable by also X-C (QQ/KQ/QJ/NutFD) and CBetting (AA/KK/AQ/66/77/ComboDraws/WeakerFD/OESD/TP+FD) aprox. Also should take a deeper look into this range, but seems kind a balanced.

Feb. 13, 2015 | 10:25 a.m.

So ended up taking the 3b line as you can see, and crushed into his top range, hehe

Feb. 13, 2015 | 10:15 a.m.

Here you can see, I opted for bet/folding. It seemes pretty clear to me but just wanted to get some opinions to know if i´m right!

Thanks! Sounds definetely good. Maybe something like 2.5h w/ a 5-10 minute break in between, 1-hour break, another 2.5h grind, and then decide rather making another session or not.

Post | pokerpan1 posted in Chatter: How do you structure your grind?

I was wondering how you structure your grind:

-A couple sessions with 1-2 hours breaks
-One really large session
-A couple sessions with 5-15 minutes mini-breaks
-A couple sessions with a larger break for lunch/dinner and some mini breaks
-Others

I'm asking this because I'm playing with 1-2 hour breaks in between. I feel good doing it this way but the problem I see with this is that:

a) The grind takes my whole day and don't have that much free time.
b) Need to warm up each time and it takes time to get new tables started again (so means I make less hands at the end of the day)

So what do you do?
