I heard someone mention this, a formula which will tell you the optimal bet sizing given your hand equity and SPR. I can't see to find the actual formula though... does anyone know where I can get this?

So I've been playing nlh cash games for over 3 years now, started at 2nl and worked my way up to beating 200/ shot taking at 400 at one point. I think I couldve gotten higher up but I started playing full time as soon as I was beating 50nl. Currently Im grinding 100nl/200nl and would like to learn MTTs. I feel like I'm probably a marginal winner at low stakes tourneys but pretty sure I'm -ev at mid stakes+. I play tourneys once in a blue moon when I'm feeling lucky, typically $30-$100 buy in tourneys. I believe I'm up slightly lifetime, but if so by no more than a couple hundred $. Been watching some rio mtt videos here and the strategy seems significantly different (I also haven't a clue how to use ICM ect).
Im still planning to continue with cash since thats where I feel my real edge is but I always enjoyed playing tournies (as long as I make the money lol). So I want to know how difficult/long of a process is it to go from a winning low/mid stakes cash player to a winning low/mid stakes tourney player? Also not to insult MTT players but I've heard from multiple sources that it generally is softer than cash games and I too have noticed this (in terms of rec-reg ratio) and I'm wondering if this still stands true in 2017?
If I am too make this 'transiition' so to speak, what would the best approach be?

the AJ hand, what would you be repping with the jam here? qjs with backdoors that called the flop? seems you would probably have just 1 or 2 QJs combos assuming you 3bet them at least 33% of the time pre-flop

16:45 shouldn't you be less incentivised to open QTo on the HJ when theres a rec likely to call you ip, and also wouldnt you want a slightly stronger range having a short stack in the blinds?

cool, thanks for the info... I'd like to create that calculator in excel using the formula, Like Tyler Foresters. I'm a complete noob with excel, any idea how to do this?
