i would say its pretty standard given the situation. its much easier to tell if we had a hud where you could see how agro our oppenent is, but since he has a lot of chips i think we can assume he opens pretty wide even from early position. we are too shallow to call and too short to 3 bet-fold so shove seems like the best option. i will agree with you that it is a bit much but certantly not bad. (also an added benefit is that the 1400/700 lvl where the hand takes place, you have just hit the money in big tourneys. so there might be a good reason to gamle)

i think its pretty standard aswell. you just got unlucky that the bb had a better hand. when the button has folded and you are effectivly 3 handed a4o should be the best hand. the thing i think you should think about in this spot is the co's limpin range tho. have you seen this player limp before. if yes its pretty obvious he most likely doesnt have a strong hand that can call 20 bbs.

Hey AAlan
in that exact spot i find myself getting owned too often by the Ah when he cr all in on flop. (especially in bounty tourneys)
also you are never gonna get 3 streets of value anyway, so it might be good to check flop back. have some pot control and see what happends on the turn.
and lets say you check back flop and no heart on turn - now you can safely value bet and the Ah should not be that likely to mess with you with check raises since there are only one card to come.
just make it 2,2-2,4 bb ;)
