love this vid so much. I think playing higher than zoom 500 producing more interesting spots given average villain plays tougher. Really like the analysis at the beginning of leading the Turn weak flush draw and facing raise. Thank you Phil!

Great video Phil! I have to confess that I can't fully grasp whole information after first watch. Definitely will have to re-watch and take notes. Thank you.
Oh and thanks again for letting us know how ActionFreak has made so much $$ this year.

Thank you Phil for such detailed analysis!
For KJ67, most of time when I have marginal hands on double flush draw Turn card, I have problem of clearly forming villain's calling range and habitually put villain's range on draw much more often than made hand thus try to bluff in this kind of spots a lot (and being caught a lot).
For T972, I do like bet the Turn in practice too, especially against this specific opponent since he is less "tricky and good" than strong 10/20 lineup. But if it is the same spot against Skjevoy, I think betting Turn may be not optimal and would face high percentage of x/r.

Thank you Phil for this action packed video.
Q1. 14:46 top left
We bet on the Turn for protection, give up on the River and you said "I am not gonna turn 67 into a bluff and probably lose." Would you elaborate because it seems like our river bet would be always bet for value (trips+) and have almost no bluffs.
Q2. 16:30 top left
This is a spot that oftentimes tricky villain would attack by check/raise with wide range given we're capped by not cbetting the flop. In the meantime, when villain has better made hands such as JJ-KK, he rarely folds it on the Turn. Our draw would be very hard to value bet River when it hits, except non-heart 6. So what if we check the Turn and use our hand as bluff catcher on the river? I know it sounds silly because villain would only vbet QQ+ and x/f all worse hands. I guess my main concern is afraid of being check/raised and have to fold our good equity.

Nice video as usual, thanks Phil!
At 41:30 wiht KhQh9s7d on Kd Td 4h 6h 9c, after cbetting the Flop and the Turn, you bet River $286 into $450. I am curious about purpose of this bet: if it is for thin value, what range we expect him to call and lose? K4/K6 is possible but given we have K9 blocked, the possibility of him having two pair decreases a lot.
Also we don't block diamonds and his check/call line looks like a flush draw or straight draw. Villain may also have hands like JJ89dd that he is very capable of check/shoving on the River. Given our hand blocking Q and 7, what should we think if facing River check/jam?

Hello Phil,
As always, Thank you for the very insightful video =)
At 8:20, on the buttom right table ATo hand, you talk about in the ante game, we (at blinds?) should 3bet against steal position more aggressive otherwise villain would get away by opening a lot. Would you elaborate the concept? Plus do you think it's also applicable for regular (non-zoom) PLO ante game?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks data. You mentioned that these guys ain't afraid of making huge bluff even when opponent show strength, which is a good point that I should've called down. BTW, I still have chance to have KQ or KK because on the flop I am not the last player to act - there is one behind me and preflop 3-bettor =)

Thanks for comments themightyjim!
I guess given it's 3 ways on the flop, HERO's range isn't capped to only Qx because HERO could wait for x/r with KQ+, which makes villain's Turn x/r look stronger. When HERO called the Turn, it's very unlikely me having a float (with draw) or having hands that doesn't have Q+ so it may make villain's river jamming even more scary.
I think Turn bet is necessary for value/protection in this case. Also from time to time we may bluff when no one shows interest in the pot. Turn size looks small indeed. However since our range isn't capped, I guess it's fine to bet small especially we were in position against preflop 3-bettor.
Welcome to add more =)

SB: $500
BB: $1109.50
UTG: $1644.71 (Hero)
HJ: $500
CO: $719.97
Hero raises to $17.50, HJ folds, CO calls $17.50, BN folds, SB folds, BB raises to $72.50, Hero calls $55, CO calls $55
BB's Turn check/raise seems only representing boat, which is KQ or KK. Hard to imagine it's a semi-bluff or pure bluff because I could have boat myself.
I don't like my call because I don't have plan on the river. However against 41/28 player, it's not easy to fold this hand either.

Great video I like it so much!
At 3:37 JcTcJs7c we're leading into two people on the flop 8h 3h 6c. Equity-wise our hand doesn't do well against even BB or BTN's calling range (say pair+flush draw or overpair+fd,wrap etc)
If we plan not only to barrel one street, there seems not many Turn cards we can comfortably bet except clubs/J/9. For example if BTN or BB just flat our donkbet, how should we proceed Qd or 2d in this spot? Also do you think it's a good spot to x/r bluff given we've shown enough strength that villain may fold more often?
Thank you Phil =)

Hey RIO, as a mid-stake PLO grinder, I'd be appreciative to see video with the following contents:
1) Thoughts of Big blind defending hands vs CO/BTN steal. Analyze how to play this general marginal spot that we usually flop some equity but it seems not easy to continue on the Turn if villain is barrelling-happy.
2) SB defending range vs CO/BTN: since we're not closing action, SB calling range is expected to much tighter than BB. Really want to see interesting hand reviews that go 3 ways (ie CO/SB/BB) or 2 ways (BTN/SB).
Thank you RIO!

Good video for both Phil and Jnandez! I'm curious to know what the color code represents on different opponents such as red, light yellow, orange and green?
