Thanks for your thoughtful reply. I guess I overvalue the few over-pairs we have which he doesn't have (QQ+, maybe JJ) in regards to the total range advantage/disadvantage. You are completely right that he has more 7x and even 44 which negates the advantage we had preflop.

river you overbet jam for value and fold out all his weak pairs and he snaps it off with all better hands

I am not convinced that he will fold 88-JJ all the time and felt like these hands would still call me often enough even against a slight overbet (pot is $3.95 - villain has $4.46 behind). The crucial fact I overlooked and you correctly pointed out is that basically all his draws get there on the river and even if he calls with these pair hands he still has more than enough hands in his range which beats us. So we either want to check behind or find a different bet sizing.

Thanks again. Really appreciated!

Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (6 Players) BN: $6.41
SB: $9.67 (Hero)
BB: $11.05
UTG: $6.51
MP: $5.97
CO: $7.23
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is SB with Q K
3 folds, BN raises to $0.13, Hero raises to $0.55, BB folds, BN calls $0.42
Flop ($1.15) 7 7 4
Hero bets $0.35, BN calls $0.35
Feels like a board we still have the advantage as the PFR and I decided to go for a range c-bet on this flop.
Turn ($1.85) 7 7 4 3
Hero bets $1.05, BN calls $1.05
Not a great card for us but neither for villain. We can still fold out many Ax hand which called the flop hence the bet. In hindsight I think we should a) bet bigger if we bet and b) pick a different hand like JTs as it blocks TT and JJ. Our king-high might be good here on occasion and we would love to see a free card. Is this reasoning sound?
River ($3.95) 7 7 4 3 K
Hero bets $7.72 and is all in
His range should consist of straights (65s is possible), many flushes, some monsters like a full house which decided to play it passively and a chunk of second best pairs like 88-JJ. Somthing lke KhTh might also be in his range. I think he would raise 7x most of the time. Given the good amount of strong hands in his range and uncertainty about him calling us with 88-JJ I like the check-back on this river. What do you think? Thanks!

Villain has $4.46 left on the river.

Comment | niggel commented on Triple Barrel spot?

Thanks to all of you for the super quick replies! <3

I guess another bullet wouldn't be bad but isn't a necessity. The 8d is kinda bad and we would prefer something like 65dd ot T8 here.

Aroma "You are getting called in that spot by a decent 9 with good blockers to the nuts ie 109, 9J Q9."
From my experience on these lower limits, thats not necessarily the case. In game I was actually thinking that we get some Jx to fold here on the river - as others have pointed out.

Why is it bad that BB range is 50% here? Because he has many Kx hands? Doesn't he also many weak 9x (I guess not as many) and other weak hands?

Also, great point about us having T8 or even T7 here as well. That adds a decent amount of combos of bluffs. Didn't really think about that.

RaoulFlush Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum! :)
