I.e. this is a good board runout for him to take a stab at the pot on the river? (My range is super narrow 44, 55, AA, KK and probably only the AdKx on the river and I will have to fold 90% of that narrow range.)

By cbetting small, do you mean such that we do not commit ourselves? (Apart from balancing reasons.)

Comment | nboyka commented on Nitty fold?

Is checking back Qh a blocker play against FDs (I wouldn't mind them calling)? Do I look to check down or valuebet a street on non-A turn/rivers?

I'm often still clueless in these 3bet pots when ranges are (supposed to be) narrow...

Post | nboyka posted in NLHE: Preflop play: variance or leak?

I play the 2NL games on Stars Zoom and I'm increasingly unsure about 3/4-bet/getting in non-AA premiums. 3bet/folding, 4bet/folding seems pretty wrong in most spots, but when the money goes in I'm too often behind and I have the impression that against non-spewy players, I should rather play some postflop instead of isolating or "inducing" light 4bet/5bets.

I've attached two screenshots, where my concern becomes evident.

Overall I still have a decent winrate (11 EVbb/100 even after the 5bb/100 rake) but I think these are the spots, where I bleed alot of equity and I'm pretty sure my opponents have no clue/don't care about my range being balanced or not.

When asking fellow players or in the forums for these spots I get the usual "stop overcomplicating, you have QQ just 3bet/get it in" or "you aren't playing high stakes, keep it simple" (e.g., http://www.runitonce.com/nlhe/too-tight-of-a-fold/ ).

Are there any fellow 2NL Stars players here? Do your graphs look similar?

Comment | nboyka commented on Too tight of a fold?

I almost never see people showing TT or AQ with this kind of action. From time to time, someone will show up with 53s or just random garbage, but this is very rare (def < 5% of these spots) and i have never seen 2+ people getting it in with the better one having worse than JJ+, AK. Given this information about the pool tendency, this is a close call?

Opponent is 15/12 w 2% 3bet. If the stats represent his true frequency, then his calling range is obviously very narrow.

Sorry for posting the results.
I am solely interested in the decision after having called, i.e. as played.

Both are unknown, the call is debatable but I don't auto3bet QQ in MP v UTG. (I will usually if there are weaker players behind me or in the blinds, which was not the case.)

Opponent is 30/25 with 14.3 3bet (unfortunately no 4b stats) on ca 100 hands and high AF. Guess a fold would be way too tight, call might be okay if I knew that he raise/folds too much.
Flop ($1.05) 4 Q 3
Hero checks, MP bets $0.53, Hero calls $0.53
Flop is as good as it gets, given his AF I think the x-call is standard.
Turn ($2.11) 4 Q 3 4
Hero checks, MP checks
Plan to xc turn and x/shove rvr.
River ($2.11) 4 Q 3 4 9
Hero bets $0.88, MP calls $0.88
He has ca 60BB left and I wasn't sure what to bet. I think the play is just betting all-in. Him slowing down on the turn gives me reason think that he has sd-value or trying to catch 3-6 outs. While I think that my play was probably not the highest EV, during play I was thinking I could get some more crying calls if I bet a size that makes bluffing cheaper from my point of view.
What are your thoughts?
