Hello community,
here is a hand that is bugging me. I'd like to know what's the most +EV play is and how you go about analyzing what the most +EV play is!
Opener is a fish and button is a decent reg who is also a very active 3bettor, his HUD stat for 3betting the bu is 12% but I think in this scenario it could be up to 20%. He knows that I'm capable of 4betting not only AAxx here. I'd like to know what you guys think the best line here is. I could easily just overcall the 3b and also hustle in the fish and play a multiway pot with a much lower SPR. As I see it our hand has a very smooth equity distribution, do we mind playing it multiway? As played do you call here 100% of the time pre? How would you analyze this scenario. I'm trying to get better at this. So here is what I did. http://www.propokertools.com/simulations/graph?g=oh&h1=As9sQdTd&h2=AA%2A%2A&s=generic
When I call we have a SPR of ~0.4 so we need ~25% to stack off.
From the equity distribution graph I see we will flop 25% equity about 65% of the time. Am I right about this?!
Thanks for some constructive input.
