Thanks for the detailed response! I will make sure to define ranges and thoughts in the future.
What do you think about his C/R sizing otf though? At that point he has put almost 1/3 of his stack in otf. I was thinking if he continues he would likely be getting it in on the turn and I would have to face an even tougher decision. Would you be committed to be getting it in based on your flop conclusion? (Given the turn is a blank)
Thanks!

Just for the sake of discussion.
Can we rule out KK in his range a large % of the time based on the flop action? With KK, the flop is crushed so hard that betting on OTF when checked to would surely be massive -EV?
This would narrow it almost down to only QQ that beats you that would be within his range. Assuming JT is almost always checking the turn.
If given the above being valid, would shoving this river be the best play?

First post, and sorry for the format.
New to table, no stats on any players.
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (6 Players)
BN: $35.14 (Hero)
UTG: $33.38 (Villain)
Preflop
($0.35) Hero is BN with A Qo
UTG raises to $0.75, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.25, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls $1.50
Flop
($4.85) A 7 9 rainbow
UTG checks, Hero bets $2.43, UTG raises to $9.27, Hero?
This was a weird spot where i had no clue what to do due to villains check-rase sizing.
Would it be a mistake folding here everytime since AQo is in the top % of my range?
Thanks.
The only hands that he flats pre and that might check-raise on flop might be, AJ, 66, 88, 99, TT, JJ, T9, T8, 89. You have blockers to 99, TT, T9, 89. The only realistic hand that beats you is AJd that would check-raise you on the flop since you are holding the 9d. Call for sure.
