Hey nice video man! With the AK at around 33:40 I think we should definitely consider jamming this turn. I think he has a lot of 66-TT here and even a Jx will be laying down a fair amount of the time given the strength of your line. You should have at least a few bluffs in your shoving range here and aside from 9Ts and KT (which I'm not sure you'd be squeezing) AK is one of the best candidates.

at 40:05 on the top right table getting almost 2 to 1 on the back shove don't you think you have enough equity vs his range to call or do you feel it's too nutted?

I'm hoping to find a few people who would be interested in forming a cash game study group. We could use a shared screen over skype once or twice a week or whatever, and go over HM hand histories. Let me know if you're into this and let's get it going!

at 29:20 with the 4bet AK. I find myself having some troubles with this SPR OOP with AK when I miss. What is you plan going to be on say a 58T or J92 board? What about a board with two broadways such as QT3? Also what type of boards specifically are you going to going into C/give up mode? Obv it's player dependent, but let's assume it's vs a player who is is calling 4 bets with a pretty strong range, as well as some random SCs, and suited high cards. like K8s etc.

Sorry I'm not sure why the info got messed up when I put the hand on here, but I'm in the HJ with $200.50 and villain is in the CO with $132.68. It has us both as the hero also, but you can figure out who's who.
Villain is 23/18/7.4(3bet) and one of the best regs in the game(also the player who I'm down most to)
He will flat me IP preflop here with a fairly wide range, including some QQ+.
He regularly floats me, especially in 3 bet pots.
I have a tendency to give him rope with the strong part of my range on later streets because of this , and he knows it. So after I C/C the turn I expect him to showdown a lot his Jx even, knowing my range is decently strong.
I also think he's going to be raising his FDs most of the time on this flop.
Maybe for all these reasons this is an easy fold?, but I just really feel like he tries to get the better of me whenever possible IP.
any thoughts?
Hero folds, Hero raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, Hero folds, Hero folds, Hero folds
Hey Lucas great video series. I'm trying to get a solid foundation down for approaching spots where we're facing 3bets pre on relatively short stacks. In the T9s hand at about 2:00 you call a 3bet oop with about 25 bbs effective. As you say you're getting a good price vs his range and it will be fairly easy to play post if you flop some equity. I agree with all this. I recently played a very similar hand except I was in position and it was very close to the FT. I posted it on 2p2 right after and everyone said I wasn't deep enough to be flatting. I felt like it was fine, and I'm not sure if I should be believing the advice I received. If you could possibly just have a quick look at the post and give me your thoughts that would be greatly appreciated. If not then no biggie.
