In Portland OR Encore poker club does a $15k guarantee on Friday nights. My question is on best way to utilize the re-buy. There is NO restrictions, you pay the buy-in, you get the re-buy. A lot of the regulars save the re-buy and stack it with the add-on if they still have it. Is that more +EV than using it after the first hand and starting with a double stack? Is it more +EV to have a bigger stack when more recreational players are still in?

^ in regards to this.....make sure you post this screen shot somewhere in a folder.  We all need to be reminded from time to time to remember why we torture ourselves.  Keep up the good work and work the felt

I think it would be good to have a RIO Monthly goal thread.  Sorry if this exists....

I wanna play 50 DS Tournies during the rest of the month.  I would like to win at least 1 and have an ROI 50% profit.  Will post updates, and will be playing on bovada which can be soft!

Musk is a BOSS, Tesla tripled in value.  Solarcity he is more financially interested in.  I met a guy that said Musk found him....he found through some network that he posted record numbers for expansion of wind power.  He said he had Musk's recruiters in his office once a week for 6 weeks.  He is a machine that lets nothing stop him from getting what he wants

IMO I would fold flop bet. With no prior reads and needing running cards I would fold. The flop raise looks like value since it is so thin. A bigger flop bet would lead me to believe he is playing back. I lean towards he flopped a set but turn bet is strange.

I have to acknowledge i did not realize size of your stack....Initially when i realized your stack size I thought about a 4 bet, but unfortunately if he 5 bets you are stuck. I am rather nitty and in this spot, with out a read I would fold. If I had any knowledge of him opening and raising alot, I would 3-bet shove!

It is an all in or fold. 88 post flop rarely looks great against chip leader. If you think he would be playing back against anything, then it is an easy all-in. I think the one thing I would consider is the added value of a big stack on FT bubble. I would rather go all in here at a chance for a monster stack, than fold and be all in or fold. There is added value of steals when people are wanting to FT more than trying to get a playable stack.

I agree exactly with John, I do not ever see a worse hand folding. Plus you get to see his hand to gain knowledge which is worth more than 2-3 more BB. Also it builds an image for you that you are willing to float with K high and can play off that!

Hey Nick!

Sorry if this was already addressed. At 38ish minutes in you have AQo in the BB, you had just been talking about how it is the Sunday Million and how you had a stack and could stand to wait for better spots. I cannot say I would fold there but in that spot, my thought process is even if I am ahead, I am leaving a huge part of my tournament up to variance. My goal with my game is to maximize my value outside of showdown. You had been talking about stack sizes and table shuffles and stuff like that, which leads me to believe that you were not calling with the idea in the back of your head to show a looser table image in the blinds.
The thing I notice a lot of time later in tourney's in the AK spew. Not many people enjoy to play it post flop, I would have put him on that probably a good % of the time. I still feel even if he spew jammed j10 off you are letting variance decide your tourney life.
Let me know if that mindset is too nitty, cause when I have a huge stack late in a tourney the last thing I try to do is play all in pre-flop pots without top 5% of holdings.
