That's short flop holdem! The flop simply has two cards instead of three. :)

I appreciate this post and I've also leaned more to population exploitations instead of hand reading. However I am nowhere near your skill level and would like to know more about how to study. When there is no clear feedback loop we can't know if we are doing the correct thing or not. How do we find metrics in our study process?

The information is not missing, but the organization of it is missing. And it results in confusion and frustration.
How do I know 1/3 betting range in SRP BTN vs BB is working better than other approaches vs the population?
What do I do when I start to defend BB lighter and my redline plummets even though I check raise a lot more etc.?
How can I be confident when my strategy drops 15 buyins over two sessions?

Sorry if I sound negative and this became a bit of a rant, but I am running in circles here and would die to get some answers, and you seem to have found something that let you progress and enjoy a game I once enjoyed.

Reading these updates it seems like RIO Poker will be a lot like the mircogaming network. The've made a lot of interesting choices. (See: https://mpn.poker/blog/)
The only problem seems to be the traffic and a lack of some features in the software. But all the fundamentals like low rake, no shortstacking, anonymous and untrackable play is the same.

The FE is certainly good, but I do think the showdown value of AK is greater than bluffing with it.

If we don't have the nut flush, then villain is more likely to call. Does that make sense?

Reminds me of that guy back in the days who 12-tabled Rush Poker on Full Tilt nl200 and nl400 and crushed. Marc Karam? =D

Anyways, good luck!

Seems beneficial to check call or check raise the flop. It's a flop where we are forced to check fold a lot so we might induce some bluffs without the risk of being raised off our equity.

I can't find any arguments for betting the turn here. We fold out worse hands and get called by better. We don't have anything to protect against either.

We could probably check range here.
E.g. in case we have the nut flush we block so much that theres more value in inducing a bluff on the river, or getting value from villains weaker hands.
