Lucas Greenwood made a very good video on this topic. Highly recommend it.

At 20:15. You open shove K9o for 17,5bbs.
Having spoken to a couple high stakes hu sng regulars and played a decent bit of hu sngs, I'm fairly certain that there's higher ev in limping or opening in that spot. Especially against such a weak opponent. The immediate equity of shoving vs opening or limping is higher, but I don't think it's the best play long term.

Would be really interested in your thoughts on this, how you'd play vs other mtt regulars in similar spots and why.

Great couple of videos, looking forward watching more of your videos :)

Well played.

In the hu you made some mistakes in the limp/check pots imo. The main one for me is when you float 79hh on Js5c3s to a min donk. But in a similar spot you fold A high which I think is a mistake and floating 79hh there is also a mistake.

But all in all, really liked this series, you do well on explaining your thoughts and I feel I learned a lot from this. I'd say you deserve a upgrade to Elite, these are best mtt series in essential for sure :)

In the JJ vs utg mr and btn 3b. How do you feel about the concept of not having a flatting range in this position? Where 4betting JJ isn't necessarily turning your hand into a bluff as it is a value raise where you just admit defeat when your 5bet but can get value when flatted, or when you get folds etc.

I guess it would be easier to play this way if you were seated on the button in this hand, idk, just wondering.

I like your videos, keep'em coming :)

p.s. would like to see some stats as it is something every player works with and it would be cool seeing how you approach your hud.

The A8 before the deal is def a call and gii ott. Guy is so crazy good that he could def shove turn with some air/draw and we win the tourney so often. If he has a strong hand good for him, cooler imho if he has you beat if u gii ott in that hand.
